Some advice

Im now under treatment of tuberculosis. I already stop smoking for 4 months now (ive been smoker for just 3-4 yrs 5 sticks a day). I just want to ask you vapers if its okay for me who is taking antibiotics(tb medicines) to vape. Or if im cured with tb (hopefully, with prayers) and i vape does it makes tb to return??
I cant ask my doctor cause shes sister and im only 19 yrs old.
Any advice from some vapers experience this or even those even not.
Thank you.
Godbless.

If I were you I would not put anything in my lungs other than air. Put it all down. Take your years of meds to treat/cure it and be happy you caught it in time. TB can do some nasty stuff and doesn't need any help from you to make things worse. I don't know for sure it would hurt you but why risk anything. Especially seeing how you are not addicted to nicotine.

Hmm... No, vaping will not cause TB. But compromise already damaged lungs? I'd hate to say one way or the other, because I don't really know. I would say that someone who only smoked 5 cigs a day for just 3-4 yrs is not really addicted to them, so there's no huge need to vape... On the other hand, I know for a fact that smoking would be a great deal worse for your lungs, your health, your entire body and immune system, than vaping could ever be, so if you ever felt like you just had to have a smoke or die.... vape instead, by all means.

But with a disease as severe and hard to treat as TB, it would really be in your best interest not to do either, but just be grateful you still have the ability to draw breath.

The only thing I can't figure out is why the problem; 19 is legal age. Are you afraid your sister won't approve?

This is far above anyone on here to give you any advice with your situation.....nothing I can really say but good luck and I hope everything works out:)

Best person to ask is your doctor...

I have to agree, your best bet is not to vape. It isn't smoking but it still irritates the lungs. But as others have also said, check with your or a doctor or 2 and find out if vaping is ok for you or not.

we are not medical professionals the majority of us, but myself if i were in your shoes, i'd err on the side of caution, stop vaping all together and discuss it thoroughly with you family physician and lung specialist.

If you need some form of nicotine and prefer maintaining the vaping approach, I would just puff without inhaling, much like a cigar. Much of the nicotine in ecigs is absorbed through the mucous membranes, so you don't need to breath in vapor while getting your nic fix. You might find that mouth puffing requires a somewhat higher nic level to reach the same effect as lung inhaling. Should you up your PG percentage, it's antibacterial properties could be somewhat helpful. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

I'm starting to wonder about the troll factor here; OP was Sunday, and now it's Tuesday, and the OP hasn't returned. It makes ya wonder. ;)
