My lady just used each of the wires that are available in this prize pack, not from the prize pack however lol, three of the wires came to 1.0, one came to 1.8, five of them came in at .6 and the last one came in at .3 ....this is single coil! So these are going to be great for you sub ohm builders!!! She did 8 wraps with each of the wires on a small screw driver which I believe was 3/32 sized. I can see now why so many people love building coils, very fun. A lot easier than I ever imagined it would be. This was the first time she ever did this, and within an hour, she could knock out 2.0, 1.5, 1.0 and .6 with her eyes closed, consistently every time. FUN FUN FUN, Good luck to everyone that is entering!

and would this work? even tho I see the potential for these "falling"

It will work, I'm thinking that its non Resistant wire that runs in the horizontal negative to positive posts, then regular kanthal for the coils, once filled with wicking material, it will keep the coils from touching. Cool looking! I cant wait to get more into the coils, need a better device first, thank god Christmas is around the corner!

Celtic Fog I want you to know, that since this giveaway started I now have a HUGE folder dedicated to coil porn! Mostly coils I want to build, some...well who knows. However I think WE need to start CPAA Coil Porn Addicts Anonymous! "I'm addicted to coil porn and I don't have a problem." LOL

.45 ohm super nano. 24 gauge on a 1/32 rod. 11/10 wrap.

This thing is a beast.

That certainly looks like a beast! Nice job! I'm betting the ramp up time for that coil is five minutes ago.

First build ever, 30g 7 wraps around a 3 mm allen wrench ( couldn't find my precision screwdrivers other than the tiny one I used for the atty) on this little RDA I just got:
first coil.jpg horrible picture from my phone, came out to 2.2 ohms, perfect for my VV3.
Now to drill out the tiny air hole and I'll be all set, at least till I can get a mech and a much better RDA.

I shall be duplicating this on my Veritas. Fewer wraps...that looks like WAY too much resistance.

I did some research and made some phone calls and found out that most of these hyperexotic builds are for show only and have way too high a resistance to be practical for vaping. Some take all the amps that a fresh 2600 mah battery has just to come to a glow before the battery is completely cashed. Bloody pretty regardless. I'm thinking of taking some wire nails and a plank, and making a jig in order to duplicate some of these.

This is the second coil i ever made, 28g infinity coil, 11 wraps total i do believe. It came out at 1.0 ohms. After I wicked it, I named it the Infinite Troll, lol. My device can fire it, but not good enough in the power department, so I swapped it back to a 1.5 ohm coil. I'm, in love with the coil building!

I agree. One day I hope to be able to build this. THen again there are quite a few in this thread I'd like to try LOL
I've never even twisted wires yet, but when I get off my duff and do so I'm gonna try this build out!

Thanks for the giveaway Celtic! Would be nice to try some different wraps before attempting to do it myself!
