I can confirm it,as I have a Wanko.The Wismec notch coils fit and work just fine.I have not tried any other notch coils with it though,but if the diameter is large enough they should snap into the holders for the premade coils.@The Cromwell can you confirm whether notch coils will work in the wanko?

Those from Fastech are pretty close to the size of the wismec ones,so I would imagine that they would work.Their cheap enough to try

I meant to say where are people getting good quality specialty premade wire. I know there's a ton out there and some are better than others.
I think my work surface was not slippery enough. And I should have straightened wire even with some saying not to
Straighten the wire out, use the brass pieces (or tape) to keep the core wires straight, start very slow for the first inch. Also knowing how to get a proper tension on the spool with the spring & nut is a bit of a learning experience.
For buying it, personally like AVS for spools. Good price, good wire

It's honestly way easier to set up the swivels on a board! I own the daedalus and it works but I honestly couldn't make anything more then a fused clapton with it (I know that's mostly what it's for) but the swivels it comes with work pretty sweet and it didn't take me long to make a swivel stand. If you want it to be hands free get a spool tamer. Ohmboy Josh has a pretty good video on it.

At 100% setting on the potentiometer it is just like holding the button on on a mosfet mod.
And at 50% it is like holding the button on for 1/2 of the time...
More like buying a flat of rubbers before joining a monastery.
