Staged Parallel Coils

This is the second set of these coils ive built. The 1st ones I jacked up trying to install them....? Its hard to get the smaller wires to "bite" under the screws. The clapton part tightens up but the smaller one doesnt. Im about ready to bind the leads together with some 40g. Is that okay to do?....

Or you could strip some if the wrap wire off the tip of the leg so then you have to plain wires like a regular parallel

I know this is almost 3 weeks old but when I build staged heating coils I take the round wire and bend it just slightly underneath my fused wire so it binds them at the same time when I tighten it down.
