STEAM ENGINE NOT WORKING

I updated the Chrome browser on my phone. For whatever reason it eliminated using decimal points at the Steam Engine site. When I wanted to mix something quick their mixing calc was my favorite to use. Without using decimal points (or fractions), it's useless now. I never thought to try another browser, but I'll check it out.

If you add a little sweetener to the peppermint, it will taste more like peppermint.

I cannot tolerate any artificial sweetener. even the one in Marshmallow flavoring.
I use NuNaturals Clear NuStevia liquid.

that vanilla custard you had me buy has no sweeteners?
how about the others you mentioned?
if so, i'll need sweetener right away.

They may have some sweetener but not much.
At least the Vanilla custard does not taste horrible to me as with all artificial sweeteners.
I will go very thirsty before taking a sip of a diet drink.

Putridsweet leaves a horrible chemical aftertaste in my mouth that lingers for maybe an hour.
And that is after just one testing sip.
I have never ingested enough of it to test for any other problems from consuming it.
Sometimes restaurants mess up and give me a diet fountain drink :gaah::cuss2:

it's hard to spend calories on something i can't chew.
that's why i no longer drink.
i realized that i'd rather have a slice of pizza than a few drinks.

Marshmallow, especially Flavour Art, is an excellent sweetener. I use it in almost everything.

Many people use ethyl maltol or Cotton Candy flavors as sweetener, too. I don't like it much myself.

Ahh but MT Dew seems to keep me from getting kidney stones. :D

Mountain Dew is the Breakfast of Champions. jk but if you asked my hubbs or my son, they'd probably agree, a coupla MD drinking fools.

@susieqz many of these flavors do have some artificial sweetener in them, but I do not recall ever seeing aspartame. They use sucralose and erithrytol mostly. Different brands use more or less sweetener. I believe Capella is one that uses very little sweetener; on the other hand, Flavor West can be heavy-handed with it. TFA and FA seem to be sort of middle-of-the-road.

What about green pepper? God a'mighty is there anything worse than green pepper and celery, but maybe pickle? Holy moly, makes me shudder just to think of it.
Green pepper is ok.
Cooked greens are horribly bitter.
Broccoli is tolerable if enough melted cheese on it.
And yep pickles or anything with vinegar!!!

and alcohol tastes horrible.
I have trouble understanding why people put hops in there to make it even more bitter.

Well I hope not because if it is, I've just put my foot in my mouth. It tastes completely different to me.

I know cotton candy is ethyl maltol.
I think marshmallow is strong in it as well.
But I could be wrong.
All I know for certain is that I have tried at least 2 marshmallow flavorings and both were horrible to me.
I felt satisfaction about tossing them to the bin.

i'll add a bit of marshmallow to my peppermint to see if that makes it taste like peppermint.
seems kinda odd tho.
the reason i love peppermint tea is it needs no sweetener.
i'm a peppermint gourmet.
i had wild mint sent here from nys.
i only drink wild peppermint from my garden at night.

thanks crom. i'll get those too.
i think the problem will be me getting overwhelmed n parallized . with indecision when i have all these.
not sure about less expensive tho.
most of the flavors mentioned sound so good i'll get bigger bottles.
Yea you definitely need to try cromwells custard if you get the vanilla custard and the whipped cream. Tried it once and stay with at least a 60ml all the time now.

nada, if a flavor contains alcohol, do i treat it differently?

If you can taste the alcohol in your finished juice, you have to let it steep for a few hours a day with the cap off the container. Give it a good shake from time to time to expose more juice to the air. That allows the alcohol to evaporate. You can't leave it exposed to air too long, though, or your nicotine will oxidize.

I don't like the idea of using flavors that have alcohol. Will have to pay more attention.

You will have to do some nmaths to get a smaller quantity. And you might also want to up the flavor levels a bit I mix pretty weak, but works well for me.

120 ml batch.
4 ml CAP Vanilla Custard V1
1.6 ml CAP Vanilla whipped Cream
6 drops of NuNaturals clear NuStevia or some sweetener of your choice. The drops are from the 2 oz plastic bottle it comes in.
Pretty big drops.
Nic to suit I use 2 ml of 100mg/ml
I then fill the balance of 120 ml bottle with 50/50 PG/VG.
Shake well and let sit over night and vape.
If you use higher VG might need to steep a few days, but with 50/50 it is pretty much shake and vape and a very simple recipe.

This recipe is also a good base to add Butterscotch, fruits, Cinnamon Danish swirl, etc to.

i will have everything but the sweetener in days.
could i add some simple syrup to sweeten?
i make it for my humming birds.
1 cup sugar to 1 quart boiling water.
once made the sugar stays in solution forever.

Regular sugar is not recommended for vaping.

GNC sells the Stevia stuff if you have one close. I got my last bottle at Amazon.
a 2 oz bottle has lasted me over 1.5 years.
and yes I get the variety with alcohol in it.
But never have tasted the alcohol and I hate alcohol taste.

You could use a bit of marshmallow I suspect for sweetener if you like it.
