That’s a tough one since they are all quite different. I would say that fa custard premium is probably the closest all around custard to caps VC and more so than inw but I’ve not seen them interchanged in any recipes, which is why this is a tough call.
Ooooooh, they are all different beasts. I personally would go FA Custard Premium, but it’s my favorite and I’m biased. If you do go either route, I would suggest adding a bit of vanilla. VCV1 is a vanilla custard and the other two, not quite so much. INW also can go dry in higher percentages so keep it under 2%. Custard Premium is butterier than VCV1. And check your percentages....both FA and INW will need a lot less than VCV1. My humble opinion.
