Subtank mini base stuck?

Hey everyone I've got a problem with my subtank mini v2. I accidentally screwed the base on a little too tight it seems and now I can't get the base off to refill it or swap coils or anything. Anybody have any suggestions on how I could get the base off?

use a rag to not mark the tank up

I just got it off. I saw some discussions of people sticking the tank in the freezer for about 10-20 minutes and used a paper towel or something like that to get a better grip and sure enough I felt the base give away as the paper towel ripped.

Rubber bands work like a kitchen jar grabber.

Just get it cold, the metal will shrink some and give you some leeway... I use nifty wire strippers that have the thinner pliers ends on them for all of my tanks and coils... They even reverse and are wire cutters Use a towel or rag to grip the tank so that if the glass breaks you don't need to get stitches

EDIT: If your RTA section's lid is stuck on, use the included screw driver though the center two holes and turn from the screw driver. Enjoy the leverage.
