Suggestion for a rating system.

I really enjoy VU, and the people are great, and there is a wealth of knowledge. The only suggestion I could think of would be a rating system. I think it would improve on the DIY section, and Hardware sections. Also, if it were possible to have an internal advanced search, so if for example you put in cinnamon, and apple recipes would be returned that contained those ingredients. I can do this with a google site search on VU now, but I am a geek. It would be nice when browsing recipes to be able to see what others thought after trying the recipe. In my opinion you are going to see more and more people move to DIY. VU's, DIY section has some great recipes, but you have to do a lot of reading to find the good ones. Along the same lines, if a rating system were possible. We could rate hardware as well. Daily I see post "What is the best **********?" Again, VU is a great forum, I am just throwing out ideas that I think would improve the user experience.

Or the actual contests that come across here that send you all around the web hunting for eggs .
