Tfv8 cloud beast issue

Im having a problem with my new cloud beast, i have a hexohm v3. Im using the coil that runs up to 260 and i tried firing at 180 but it wouldnt fire at all, talked to a lady who runs the same setup and she gave some advice, i swapped to the quadruple coil and itll fire up to the 108watt mark but not past that. And i have no idea whats going on. Going to head to my local shop and see what they think/can do but thought id come here for ideas before i go

I have no experience with the hexohm system, however, what batteries do you have in it?
Do you have an ohm meter that you can put the coil in the TFV8 and confirm that the tank is reading the ohms correctly for that coil?
Reviewing the product site, it does not appear that the hexohm system has any LCD screen to display the ohm that it is detecting from the tank/coil setup.

what is the resistance of the coil?
watts = volts squared / resistance
your mod..
Min Volts:3 Volts
Max Volts: 6 Volts
Max Amps: 30 Amps
Max Watts: 180 Watts

so

you need lower than 0.2 ohm to hit 180w. This is regulated by the output of your IC chip.
