The TRUTH about HIC

i don't understand how the members of this forum has let this go on so long. There is a member here who is no better than a pusher. He gives you free recipes to lure you in & then has you in his grasp. As I mentioned in other posts I've been vaping since 2007 but had neve been into DIY. That was until I was lured in by HIC! His recipes on this forum looked like they might be fun to try. I selected quite a few & ordered ingredients to make about 12 of them. That was the end!!!! Over the last 2 weeks I mixed up 5 of them & was hooked. I mixed Vanilla-Mocha Cake, Sugary Almond-Apple Tart, Caramel Coconut Coffee, Nutella, & Xtra Smooth Tiramisu Cream. I have gone over the edge & now find myself having to fight with 5 new ADVs. What's worse is I still have over 30 more to make..... I daily have 10 attys going & he has tricked me into turning over 5 to his devious blends within the last week. Now over 800ml of commercial Ejuice I had been vaping for years have gone into the closet. I'm out the money I paid for these! This was all a plan to lure me to his website where he can extort $3 each for new, exciting recipes I now just have to have. He is not alone in this devious endeavor. His associate Jason has also hooked me on his White Coconut Cake. I'm getting in so deep I don't see a way out of this trap. If anyone knows of a 12 step program to rid me of this curse please contact me.
I await your response. Remember, "A Mod is a Terrible Thing to Waste".

Haahaa! Maybe he should be banned before he puts all the juicee vendors out of business, or adds to their compettion. That being said, I will vapee your unwanted juice, for the cause... juice is a terrible thing to waste. :)

I will have to try HIC's recipes since I go through a lot of e juice every day and is getting a little expensive. I was doing a little research and figured that for about $100 + I could make about $1100 worth of the e juice I vape now.

When I read the thread title I got agitated before reading the post! I was putting my gloves on!! @HIC has GIVEN us a lot to be grateful for. I specifically ordered everything for 4 recipes he suggested. Trusting his knowledge and reputation I off the bat made 120mls of each recipe. Last night I took my two favorite and made 480mls of each. The coffee milkshake and the five star fancy. I can't put either down. I vape depending on the day, up too 30mls a day. No way I could afford this without diy being an option and the generousity of him sharing him work. KUDOS, HIC, anything I can do to repay you just say the word!!!!

So growing up I was warned of the corner drug pusher.
I come to this site to learn things as I venture into the light.
Now im being warned that we have a recipe pusher in our mist.
When does it stop?
all I wanted to do was improve on mr e's dew flavor. Now in less than a month I have spent sevral hundred bucks. Flavors, pg, vg, nic, a istick 50, kanger subtank mini, an rda, kuro koiler, wire, wicking material, and juices.
The true question is, does it end?
Now I want to build a mod.

First of all, you're all hilarious! I've even been memed (that a word?) by @dnezarmichael hahaha.

I will have to try HIC's recipes since I go through a lot of e juice every day and is getting a little expensive. I was doing a little research and figured that for about $100 + I could make about $1100 worth of the e juice I vape now.

Even when I vaped vendor juice, I craved variety. So I bought lots, but I only liked a fraction of them. I was not saving money over smoking at that point. Worse yet was rationing nearly-empty bottles, wondering how much longer shipping would be to receive my next order, and whether I'd like any of them.

Then I got into DIY and bought lots of flavorings. I only liked a fraction of those, too. I still wasn't saving money - I bought a ridiculous number of flavorings, and most of my results were not worthy of even the crappy nic I was mixing with. Some tasted as bad as the vendor flavors I'd already rejected. The few good ones I found kept me buying more, like looking for gems in the detritus.

My first small order of FlavourArt - I liked nearly of them. So I kept buying more (still wasn't saving money - they used to cost more). That's when my DIY finally turned around. Most of my mixes were vape-able, and lots were really good. With a little practice, even better than the few vendor liquids I actually liked.

So if you're just coming off cigs or vendor liquids, you want to DIY, and you're considering a big order -- you'll do yourself a favor if you make those mostly FlavourArt. And I'll throw in a plug for VapersTek nic. You'll pay more up front starting with the good stuff, but it's much less likely to end up down the drain. Once you actually enjoy what you mix, THAT's when you start seeing the savings. (well, as long as you don't get sucked into the shiny hardware...)

Seriously, It takes way too much of those flavorings to taste like bubblegum..... like 15% to 20% and it isnt that good. ( lorans I presume?) I bought some of those when I first started out in DIY in 2012-13. Then I went to TFA Bubble gums and added the regular fare such as watermelon, grape, etc.... Then eventually moved on from there to using 90% FA flavorings. 2% to 3% of one flavoring and more realistic taste is much better than 10 to 20% of one flavoring and a so-so taste.

My two cents and opinion. Your milage may vary.

I was mixing my adv off of the halo TriBeCa clone I found here, still and will always mix it but it was my attempt and the reason I started DIY, so I went and dropped almost $200 on a bunch of TFA flavors thinking they would all turn out good. WRONG I WAS!!!! There are some flavors I will still use and like but some of them will end up sitting in cabinet never to be used. Now I'm saving for a FA big buy so I have stock, I wanna be able to make what I wanna vape that day on the spot. I'll get there one day but it's been close to 5months since the time I went in a shop for juice...

I don't even DIY yet and I still look through all of @HeadInClouds posts. I've been building up this huge list of HIC flavors I HAVE to try out! I've been told by my wife that I can't start making my own til our big move in June lol. Don't need more breakable shit to try and move cross country with :D

Side note: Why does HIC not have his own subforum yet? I'd subscribe to that.

All hail HiC, master of Fa. We're not worthy, we're not worthy. :D

We're all worthy, Uncle - worthy of excellent vapes, whether or not the government tries to block access - and of knowing what we're vaping, and all that. I just read a post about the 'newly discovered' dangers of Chantix, so I'm in a political mood. DIY! DIY! lol

 You rock! *subscribed* :D I'm counting down the days til I can set up my DIY lab. I'm a variety junkie so I'm probably just going to go down the list and start trying out recipes once I get things going. Thanks!
That's pretty much how I did it. It's an ingenious idea.

Could be the name of an ejuice line: Count Vapula - Blood, Bite, Bat, Flight, Stake, Heart,

Every time I try to think of juice names based on Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, it always degrades into a porno theme.
LMAO!!! You ain't right! :p

Ok.so.that it.too funny. I am enjoy a bit FA myself, find they have somethings I like, but like all vendors, I gotta pick and choose for my tastes. As a general.rule, if I see too much fa, I know it's not for me. I do however, really miss Wllmc and cramps contributions. I found.I really enjoyed their creations quite a bit . As always, taste is subjective. And please don't start that fucking taste is subjective argument.again. Everybody doesn't like everything. Plus if somebody is using say a protank somebody else is dripping and a third is using a kayfun, the same thing will taste different in each device. I do.however very much appreciate how HIC inspires many to get into DIY. I hate seeing people.pay big money for juice, and as long as we are all vaping something we like and made ourselves, we are ahead of the game and many have HIC to.thank for that, and that is a good thing.
