ok, i know i'm a noob and don't know much. i just learned what a tiger coil was the other day so i went out and bought some .5x.1 ribbon and some 26g wire. now from what i understand

wire/ribbon + twist = Tiger coil

but what about

wire/ribbon/wire + twist = ?
or
Ribbon/wire/ribbon/wire/ribbon + twist = ?

are there names for these types of coils? are they just expanded tigers? the R/w/R/w/R is kinda like a big-mac hamburger lol.

If you twist ribbon and round together it's a tiger. Even if you helix it, even if you clapton the ribbon, it's still just a tiger no matter how you split it.

well watever variation it is, the R-w-R-w-R is working great. once it gets heated up the flavor of all my juices changes.
