What I have observed is a gradual shifting our entire political system since circa Woodrow Wilson. The Democrats have become blatenly liberal socialists; and, the gop have become the Democrat Light.
Today's GOP is about where JFK was, politically for the most part.
I'm other words, it's just a slower route to the same place.
I never once, nor will I, ever question Trump's patriotism or good intention. But, as the cliche says, the road to hell is paved in good intention.
My issue has been, how he will represent the Country; and, His temperament and interpersonal communication.
Generally speaking at this point, we just fucked. Not a damn thing will change.
I do agree with you on the supreme court; however, he will have 4 or 5 nominees?
If he sticks to his list, that could prove to go well so far as the court goes.

I think its inportant to vote tho i dont want to give up or just say f it nothing will change ( not saying you are either ) . Maybe the convention of states will be our only hope ? At this point im not sure what the answer is . Quite frankly im scared and im hoping for the best ! I see a dark road ahead. Its all been exposed ! How does it come back together ? Who can we trust anymore ? Is it dead ? Is it over as we know it ?

to many career politicians with to much personal gain involved. I cant see them hedging their losses like that.
The only thing I can think of to stop it at this point....
would be for Texas to try and secede and hopefully some other states with a real industry of their own to try and make a move after.
California cant, they have to much to lose and are hemorrhaging entitlements. Texas is financially in a position to be able to stand alone.
The reality is, it would never happen.... Not in my lifetime at least. However, in an extreme case, that is the only way i can see anything actually changing. Things are to fucked up and to far down the road to full socialism for anything to really make a drastic change, unless the bottom completely falls out.
Wich it could very easily, look at the problems some of these banks have now . Look at putin saying a vote for killary is a vote for war ! WTF

I haven't been following the news, don't own a TV. I am just living life, I mean I really can't just sit around and be paranoid. Yea defcon 3 that's low But what are the odds of the USA going to defcon 1? That's when shit is serious. The last thing any branch of the military wants is war, especially thermo nuclear war. When is the last time one was dropped..... Not in a long time, in fact way before my time! Yes we test them in undisclosed locations but no casualties.

Unfortunately our military's 'testing' and prototypes are a far cry from real world deployment. Much of the military isn't as advanced as you'd hope or think. In prototypes we have robotic dogs, exoskeletons, lasers that can take out missiles and aircraft, all kinds of nifty shit. Reality? We fly in to kill bin laden, one of the choppers crashes in his fucking front yard and squishes his pet dog, all kinds of goober bullshit and that's our 'special forces'. I'm not dissing our soldiers, I'm disheartened by the actual training (or lack of) and real world execution of tactics.
Put it this way, if you have a test given over operating a forklift in the private sector and you've got 3 tries to get it right to pass - do they hand you an operator's license after crashing the first try? No. The military does. I watched idiots placing claymore's backwards and still graduate basic. Thank god they were dummies or I (and the others in my squad) wouldn't be around. Fuck the fact it's written in big bold ass letters which way to point the damn thing.
Those suggesting people are too busy to educate themselves on the issues, can't be bothered to go find information on their own if it isn't spoon fed to them have no business voting. I don't discuss vaping much if at all on my fb page and it's something I've only mentioned in private to a handful of my friends. Aside from having 'liked' a few vaping folks. Wtf vaping had to do with the discussion of Trump and shillary, not a damn clue. This friend said how awesome it was being a liberal. Within hours they posted an old ad for subaru pointing out how they turned their focus to the lgbt community and proceeded to mock them calling them 'lesbaru's'.

Me too, it's only a matter of time before something happens. Anon is claiming to have damaging things they are going to release against HRC as well, they are planning on doing it in waves with a "final blow" coming in the beginning of November.
Some of the things they claim to have include, proof of voting rigging, tapes featuring Bill, and various other things. Of course this isn't proven to be 100% or even proven if it's actually Anon saying said things.
