To thin or not to thin

I am wondering I have seen some people say they cut/thin their VG with water or vodka. So were I am just starting to make my own bottle tonight should i thin it or not? I want to run either 75vg/25pg or 80vg/20pg
Any help would be appreciated.

You only need to do that with 100%, or close to that, VG and don't want to add PG!

At the percentages you listed above, I'd skip thinning the VG out.

The PG will obviously thin out the VG at 80/20 or 75/25. The only problem with Max VG is if you use no PG, you end up with less flavor. The PG is what mostly carries the flavor, so you may find that the less PG, the less you like the flavor of the juice. I have never cut VG with water or vodka, just haven't found a need for it personally.
