This is my first RDA one side of the cotton is turning brown on one side what am I doing wrong?

Hot spot on the coil cooking the juice?...did you dry fire the coils and adjust accordingly prior to wicking?

Fire it with the top cap off, see if the coil is spitting juice all over the place originating from that location.

Additionally, if you have the wick too tight the flow of jooce can becomes flawed...causing it to cook on that side.

The wicking is good it's definitely the coil ... What do you recommend I'm using 26 gauge Kanthal on a 3 millimeter screwdriver how many wraps do you recommend I only have 60 watts maximum power and have been running at 55 - 57 and it's been producing good amount of vapor

bri...if you're not familiar with Steam Engine....mess around with the numbers till you understand it, simple once you understand the concept of resistance, wattage, et al.

Besides the obvious hotspot, the coils should be equal to each other and have roughly the same resistance.
it seems to me that your coils don't have the same amount of wraps.

I redid the coils and I am not noticing any brown I did dual 8 wraps 26 gauge Kanthal and I'm getting .54 ohms my friend said that he uses nichrome 80 24 gauge my other friend says he uses 24 gauge Kanthal can anyone tell me the advantages and disadvantages?
