I was building a shelf to have my aromas ordered (10ml bottles). Cheap and easy:
In Department Stores you can find slats in packages, to put under parquet floor, that are very cheap and have the perfect measurements for our boats. Just cut them to length along (I think they can cut for you):
This one came from Leroy Merlin or L&M (I don't know if available in UK):
It can be glued simply with a hot glue gun:

Now some paint:
And here is finished: putty, painted, waxed and aged, as it corresponds to an old alchemy shelf:
I've put some folding legs. So it's a shelf, lectern, and tray at a time. Aroma bottles do not fall apart when moving. I think I'll do some more and be stackable. I still have ribbons (and aromas are not going to be missing ...)
