the photo shows bootleg VTCs and the link is dead

I ordered a pair last week from the same eBay vendor that arrived today and I have concerns about their authenticity. I'll upload a couple photos in a few minutes.

I could have taken pics of the positive and negative terminals but they are both virtually identical in those aspects. I don't want to jump to conclusions either since I know Sony has factories in countries besides Japan, but I thought it would be best to post here for everyone to judge for themselves.

I can take and upload more pics if it'll be helpful.

If the negative (bottom) of the cell is not perfectly flat and has a disk like the photo's joe posted, it a knock off, not a real Sony.

Both are flat.

I'm inclined to believe these are genuine since the dimensions and the terminals are identical as far as I can tell, but the different printing and darker green wrap color threw me off.

I'm sorry but the last time a pair of vct5's were on vaporJoe's site, I ordered them off of eBay and they were fakes.

I've been burnt too many times on eBay as far as batteries ..... Never again.
