So I have a sub ohm device (0.17 ohm) and I normally vape 18mg regular vape juice. I recently bought 20mg salt nic. Ive never tried salt nic before. I didnt notice until after I bought it, it said on the bottle of the salt nic "not intended for sub ohm devices". Will it be dangerous if I vape the 20mg salt nic? I know its supposed to be smoother but is there any major risks? Remember I normally smoke 18mg nicotine regular vape juice. Thank you for reading this, I hope I can get some help here.
It's all good. You'll be fine. They just have to warn people so some dumbass doesn't try blowing cloud comp style clouds with 50mg/ml juice and then sue them when that dumbass gets unfavorable results from the experience.
Nic salts just hit the body much quicker, and more effectively, the body absorbs it easier. Just expect that 20MG nic salt to feel like 36mg+ It hits smoother, so you might not initially think you got the hit you were craving, but within 10 seconds you'll know. Generally with nic salts you don't need near as big of a hit to get the same sensation.
The reason nic salts are as comparable to hitting your body as the freebase (the purest form) nicotine that we had been using in the past is because PAX Labs (Now split off from Pax into Juul) figured out the use of benzoic acid with Nic Salt. Benzoic acid causes a chemical reaction in salt nic that makes the nicotine more absorbable like freebase nicotine It also helps lower the pH levels in the salt nicotine which gives a smoother throat hit as well as allow the nic to vaporize at lower temperatures. Now, What I'm wondering is do DIY nic salts already have the benzoic acid or would I be expected to pull some shit that looks like a breaking bad rerun trying to cause some chemical reaction? I'd also would like to know if anyone has tried the juul and have also used a refillable device with nic salt eliquid? If so are they the comparable or is the juul somehow better at delivering nic in any way? Has anyone ever gotten any Nic Salt eliquid that is "weak" or "strong" compared to other nic salt eliquids of the same nic level? I love learning new stuff and this nic salt seems to be the biggest new(ish) thing in vaping right now.
Wow thank you so much everyone. I'm glad to know I can enjoy this nic salt. I will just wait more time inbetween pulls so I dont get sick.
the acid [benzoic, citric, or other] just neutralises the ph of the alkaline nic if you think back to high school science class, mixing a base and an acid results in salt, which becomes bonded to the nic molecule it is more freely absorbed because of the ph of mouth mucosa this effect is less so in the lungs, so the instant hit applies more toMTL, especially if you swirl in your mouth like a cigar, and less so for dtl
