Unlike theDNA and rDNA, the DNA 200 is made out of 6031 aluminum, making it
lighter than it's predecessors. The finish starts with a black anodization process, followed by black paint and then a light rubberized coating completes the process. Truly our most durable finish to date.

Received my first Vaporshark DNA200 end of September, due to an issue and option to return I returned the device. I was planning on waiting a few months, but will be receiving 2nd Vaporshard near end of September. This is my first Vaporshark and have been completely impressed, I have worked with Vaporshark Customer Service and have had only good experiences.

Personal reasons for the VaporShark: The DNA 200 chip, firmware updates (Escribe), TC, US based, and probably most important the smaller size.

Look forward to sharing and learning new features and tricks with the Vaporshark and the DNA 200 chip.

I have seen VaporShark go on long backorder and 10 day is not bad. I always have 2 devices in active duty, smaller size more important to me. Knew would be getting a DNA 200, few options out there. Will hold me over for a good chunk of time.

Oh I have plenty of gear. When I did the godforsaken dna40 vs preorder it took over a month. and I have a whiteout sx on preorder right now, not sure if I want a whiteout DNA or vsdna for the 200; or something else. I know I don't want to spend much more than 200$ since I'm not sure on the chip yet. I do know battery life at 80-90w is my biggest concern

So 900mah 3s- 2700mah total. Looks like just a bit more than an 18650, wouldn't really work for all day at 90w.

The vt200 ugly as it maybe seems to be the best for battery life so far.

The opus 200 I think had a little more juice in it than the vaporshark. And you can buy them now if you find them in stock anywhere

Supposed to be
From the vs Facebook
The specs are as followed: 11.1 3 celled LiPo that is removable and user serviceable, it has an authentic Evolv DNA200 chip, a zip charging port, self adjusting 510 connector, and the exact dimensions are 3.5" x 1.9" x0.94". We do not have a final price point yet, but we will be releasing more information very soon.

Any thoughts on the Hydrophobic Nano Coating?
http://www.vaporshark.com/vape-shield

I added it to order other day but have suspicion some worthless marketing upgrade that costs them 5 cents and no benefit. For $30 was not going to delay order and research.

Well that coating does look interesting. If it works I may have to buy a vapor shark for my everyday carry.

That's something they started offering only in the last couple months, evolv puts a coating on the board already, and I have not had any issue with any of my previous mods from them that did not have it. and until the sxmini M my adv has been a shark for a good while

I was so tempted and the SX Mini M was my first choice device upto few months ago, the cloudmaker version gives it a better kick. Checked Yihi site before going for VS and did not see any new upcoming chips (did not look hard.) you have good taste.

The chip has been out for a few months, what it came down to for me was ship date of 24th and the VS form factor. Seen them backorder or be on long wait previously. Would have liked to see more, the other one I was interested in was lavabox but surly will be higher price point. Been watching and waiting for way to long. Admire your ability to hold out :)

I would be shocked if the lavabox were much more than 200$. The Hana is currently at the 200$ mark also. Only it looks like a Lego.

They may use it in 130w mode to keep with the dual 18650 profile....-just speculation

Im torn still, been torn on the board since they announced it. Truthfully im more excited a out the whiteout sx. But the more I look into the capabilities of edcribe the more I like the potential.
Hell, if the screen works ill be happy.

Just saw that Volcano listed the MSRP of the Lavabox was $169.99. Puts a bit of heat on the current market of $200+ DNA 200 mods.

I have the VS DNA 200 on pre-order... might need to pick this one up too... damn it.

http://www.volcanoecigs.com/lavabox.html
No regrets, the Lavabox appears might be a little larger but still no eta listed, long as VS starts shipping on 24th all good. I was so tempted over last year to either get rdna or SX M, really wanted VS. I think both will be great additions to collection.

Nice find, on the notify list and was anticipating hight price point based on their other mods.

90 minute charge time isn't bad, thinking I'm going to get either a backup battery for it or a spare battery and lipo charger

Now the big question, will orders start shipping today or will a 15 day processing time start today, lol. Can't wait to get this in my hands.

Just pull the trigger, there isn't a '4' in '200' so it should be safe
hahaha

Www looking at those, the only reason I went vs was for the smaller form factor.

thats pretty much the same reason for me as I'm sure you will be able to upgrade the lipo pack in it as well because i don't think its going to last all day!!

Depends on how you vapes. But I'm expecting closer to 4-5 hours with my vape style (75-80 w). So, first thing I'm doing is seeing what other packs I can cram in it. Lola
The battery door is two magnets and a tab similar to the sig150tc so it is user replaceable, not sure how practical, but I'm willing to see how miserable it is to deal with

The pack they are using is the one sold on evolv's website not sure on charger yet, I'm going to check when it gets here to see the specs.

No, logged on and see processing, but don't recall if that was way it started. Best things come to those who wait.. Lol. Was sceptical would see shipping, but was hoping for some sort of update.
