Vario tank + Dagger Mod Resistance Jump

Everytime I use my vario tank on the dagger mod the resistance keeps jumping up and down from 0.8 ohms to 1.7ohms. The problem only comes when the tank is used on the dagger mod. When I use a different mod the resistance reads a stable 0.7ohms. And when I use a different tank on the dagger mod the resistance never jumps. Is this tank not compatible with the dagger mod? Can anyone else confirm this or is it just me? Is there a way to fix this? Cause I really love this tank and mod and I plan on using them together. Thanks in advance.
