Let us not forget all of those who have served our great nation and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Nov 11, 2015 is Veterans Day. Make sure you thank a veteran for your freedoms and their service.

I started at Incirlik Turkey, to Brooks AFB in San Antonio, to RAF Lakenhealth, to Altus AFB in OK, then I became a recruiter went to Waterbury CT, to Vandenburg AFB CA, to Syracuse NY and I finished in Rome GA. Incirlik was the best assignment.. it was 86-88 Turkey is an amazing country. But I have to say Lakenhealth was my favorite because I met my wife there about 20 years ago.

Go for warner climates.... Most of our bases offer the same stuff.... but a beach nearby is always nice. Good Luck

Your dream sheets do not have some truly asshole of the world duty stations.
Thinking back 20+ years ago...
Nothing compares to Adak, Diego garcia and Gitmo.
The Gitmo of 20 years ago is nothing like it is now.

I had a bud who would put down the shittiest duty stations he could fathom.
They always sent him to the exact opposite.
He put down Adak, they sent him to HI.
