volts and everything in between

So im new to vaping. I have a fuchai 213 and a merlin mini rta. Just wanna make sure that what im using is safe. So i read some sites that for a typical 18650 battery you should be at 4.2v. Right now Im on a 4.79v, .45 ohms, 9A on 50W. Is this ok? Is it ok to go beyond 4.2v on a 18650 batt

All 18650 batteries are 3.7V nominal 4.2V max.
Your mod has 2 batteries in series which means it has 8.4V max available.
Your mod is regulated, which means it can raise of lower the voltage to what is needed, based on the wattage you have chosen and the resistance of the coil.
