Vtc5 vs vtc6

Hey there. First time posting. I've been told those are both good batteries. Do you agree? Why should i buy 5 instead of 6? Isnt 6 the latest "model" ? Im just a regular guy vaping 50-90 watts throughout the day. What are your recommendations for that kind of vaping? I want them to last long and maintain power. Ps: vaping exclusively on a regulated mod. Thanks guys and gals! :)

Welcome to VU. Its not about the latest but more about application.

VTC5A= 25A 2500mAh
VTC6= 15A 3000mAh

Most people tend to reach for the higher mAh on a regulated mod. Not sure what kind of coils you are using or what ohms but it is likely a safe bet the 6 in your case is a better fit. Do share what ohm your coils are?

I tend to prefer the higher amps. Why? Because I've got 3 different types of regulated AND a mechanical-series NC mod.

I bought the 5a's for the NC, but periodically rotate them thru the vt133's, or Gbox. The rest of my cells are all 25R's as they are just an excellent value/quality for my needs.

I'd always choose higher amps over less than 20% extra capacity: I can pack another set of cells, but I don't even want to think about blown fuses and venting.

Thanks for responding. My ohms are usually between .2 to .5

I see.

You should be fine with the 6A for your vape style and vaping regulated exclusively will get a slight run time benefit from the higher mAh.

The VTC6A seems to be a bit hard to find. But anyway, here's a better battery than it:

The Samsung 24S would likely perform even better for how he vapes, but unfortunately both it and the Vapcell rewrap of it sold out mighty quick at imrbatteries.com and liionwholesale.com, respectively:
