I'm fairly new to vaping, I started 4 months ago with a Innokin T18 and still use it as my main device.
I also have a unregulated clone, but it's awful and not of relevance.
After trying a friends sub ohm set up, it's got me thinking about what his box mod actually was.
I've got an idea, but I'm not 100% on whether it'd be safe.
I was planning on running 2 18500 batteries in parallel, giving 3.7-4.2v. Then just using a adjustable step down regulator to control the volts/amp draw?
I'm pretty competent when it comes to electronics, but it's all self taught, so I'm never certain that I'm doing it right, and more importantly, safely.
What safety precautions could I take? I was planning on using a 10a resettable fuse. I don't plan to go below 0.5 ohms, and almost certainly won't.
Is that all safe and correct? Or am I missing something?
