Making your own juice is a lot of fun as well. They have some great recipes in the DIY section. Imagine something you really like costing $1.

Find something you would like to make. Start a thread in the DIY section, people will usually provide recipes. Then shop it, there's a lot of good vendors. For me, it depends on who has the most in stock, and price, for what flavors I need.

I think it's just that your leads might not be completely secure. Sure the thicker twisted wire is a bit tougher to get into those posts. Try kind of wrapping the ends around the screws before you tighten them down? I saw a 6 wrap of twisted 28g. How many wraps are you doing?

Yes. Your meter on your mod is just measuring for the load your coil is taking from your batteries.

It's pretty good considering my first complete build lol don't really have anything to compare it to. It does make the jucie hot and the taste is strong inhad to turn it down to 40w

In a pinch. you can use any sterile cotton, boil it an let it dry. Cotton balls, qtips, tampons, all work.

So harsh in your tank, but smooth in your dripper? What's your usual build and ohms in your dripper? Could be the airflow is more restricted in your tank causing it to be much hotter than in your dripper. Making it harsher on the throat. Does it seem much warmer in your tank as well? Don't have much expierience with RTAs as I've only had one in my vaping lifetime and that was many moons ago. Never put a twisted build in it either, it was a Kayfun.

Assume you're being safe on that .12 build Sounds just like your tank has more restricted airflow than your dripper does. I'd love someone else's input on if I could be correct. But .4 on a sub ohm style tank seems right on par. Is it so harsh that you can hardly vape it?

I wouldn't trust the safety features too much. My atty has shorted before and it still fires, I never get the atomizer short message it's supposed to. Not trying to sound like an asshat but after 4 months with this or so I've learned its "safety features" aren't that great. Which sucks since the limiteds and royals are more advanced than the regulars and they still do this.

Appreciate that as well. Does Sigelei also have this issue? And to @Villagedavis just make sure you know what your batteries can handle safely. Also try turning the wattage down on your device for your tank. I keep forgetting most people use regulated devices. I'm the exact opposite have almost always been unregulated.

Safe is a relative term. For example some people don't sub ohm for safety. However I'm skipping that whole speech because it's been said a million times and it's obvious you feel comfortable with sub ohming.

For this mod I haven't had a chance to test each safety feature but I can say that mine, no clue on others, doesn't use the atomizer short message that is supposedly has. Maybe it only considers post shorts or 510 connection shorts atomizer shorts. I've had a few builds accidentally touch my deck or top cap on the mut x v4 and never got the atomizer short message. I noticed them when dry firing my coils to get them to heat evenly so it shouldn't be a problem so long as you check your coils before wicking them, which everybody does so they can align them.

If they do end up touching your top cap or deck while vaping you'll be fine and you'll notice instantly because you'll get a straight hit of Satan's anus. If you somehow can vape that, I can, it'll taste burnt and metallic and very different from burnt wick.

Also it has an improved lock feature from other models if you have the limited or royal edition, from your picture it looks like a royal if I'm not mistaken. So use your lock.

And always make sure to wipe up any leaked juice asap to keep it out of the mod. Mut x v4's are notorious for leaking through their bottom airflow and mine leaks like no other. To prevent it just drip less or pay attention to where you drip and you'll be fine, I'm just careless.

Also I'm pretty sure it's just mine but my firing button can get stuck if pushed in and then slid to a direction if that makes sense. It's only happened twice and when it does if I just push the button in and let go it normally stops. If not I push in and slide toward the center and it's good. Pretty sure I just got something stuck in it and it's in need of cleaning.

The snow wolf limited is the only device I use so I couldn't tell you. I have a mech and that's it but it's too unsafe to use due to lack of ventilation holes ect. To be put simply if a battery vented at all you're looking at pipe bomb status since it has 0 venting due to some flaws that make the vents close.

I'd try pulling up a search on its safety features then checking to see if they work by looking up reviews on them.

The snow wolf is capable of going to 0.05 ohms if you have the batteries to support it. For me the lowest I've gone on it is 0.08. Lately I just hang around .2-.3. No need to go lower since I can just up the wattage.

The "sweet spot" for this mod and batteries I use is about .27. You can find sweet spots and battery limits out at steamengine.org.

Satan's anus part cracked me up man. Haha.. But as far as I know the Snow Wolf won't increase your amperage with the two batteries it uses because it's series, not parallel like mine. So super low builds on it is I guess one of those "it can do it, but perhaps you shouldn't test for yourself that it can" type of things.

Also on another note, if you like claptons check out transformer coils. It's a round core wire wrapped with ribbon wire. I'm running a dual setup of them at 100 watts. Love it more than the claptons.

And if you're getting too harsh of hits try adding the clear spacer that comes with the v4 and no drip tip. If I use the drip tip it mutes flavor for me and seems to give much hotter vapor that's harsh to me. If I don't use the spacer then I get lava hot juice shooting my mouth.

I was running dual twisted 28 gauge with 2 strands. I'm pretty sure I had it at 5/6 wraps but if you want to double check just enter the specs in steamengine. Will tell you all the details for the coil. I had quad parallels at .24 and they weren't half bad.

It's like twisted but instead of twisting them you leave them straight next to each other, essentially it's 2 coils in 1 like the twisted.
I prefer twisted over parallels though.

Parallel is just taking two strands of wire next to each other (parallel) and wrapping them just like you would a normal coil. Careful not to let them overlap. Twice the surface area with one coil.

Of my twisted? I have a helix coil in. Sort of twisted then two wires twisted into that..

But if I'm twisting say two strands of 28g I hold tension and twist until it breaks off on one end.
