My mom told me that our Germany Shepherd, while in the back yard, would flip up the gate handle, go around to the front door and ring the doorbell, LOL.

I thought the same thing. I also would have pulled it back out instead of twisting and shoving it's hind end through.

Yup, I was thinking the samething. Maybe she couldn't put the dog inside, lol. Or just wasn't thinking clearly.
