A Panda born overseas gave birth to twins at Shenshuping base in Wolong, Southwest China's Sichuan Province on July 8. The new panda cubs are energetic and healthy. The elder female cub weighs 170 grams and her younger brother weighs 159 grams, according to the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda (CCRCGP). As the first panda born in Thailand in 2009, the mother, Lin Bing, became something of a celebrity and returned to China in 2013.

I loved watching this, they set the rules<3

She's only just been re-introduced to her dad. She was re-introduced to her mom a couple of weeks ago. I've been watching her grow since birth. She was 3 months premature so had to be hand-raised away from mom and dad until she grew sufficiently. It's been fascinating to watch.

Such a cool animal story:inlove::inlove:Nature welcoming her back to Mom & Dad

They aren't sure, of course, if they recognize her as their baby, but they immediate accepted her into their bloat. (BTW, did you know that a grouping of hippos is called a bloat? :giggle:) She only spends part of the day in the big tank with them and it's not on a schedule, but every day they are together for longer periods of time.
