Just got a Cloupor 30 watt and I'm looking for advice on builds for it. I plan on using it with a RDA (Doge, Patriot) mainly but also looking for building advice for an Aqua also. I've tried a 0.4~0.5 ohm dual coil build using 28ga on the Aqua already. It was unsatisfactory and not producing much vapor. It would also get hot pretty fast. Haven't tried a RDA with it yet. Can 30 watts effectively heat up 22ga for a decent vape or should I use a different gauge? I only have 28ga, and 22ga right now.

Edit. Rebuilding the coils on the Aqua and using less cotton helped a little. Not getting as hot and getting a little more vapor but not as much as I was hoping for. It's still 0.5 ohm micro coils. Would building a ~1ohm normal coil produce more vapor. I don't expect to get dripper performance on it but I usually get more clouds than this on the same build using a mech.

If your staying around the .4 - .5 range I would pick up some 26g kanthal. I wouldn't build that low for a 30 watt device though, RDA or RTA. I use my kayfun around 1 ohm on my iStick30 and it works great. As far as 22g goes, you're gonna have a long ramp up time on either device, but especially the Cloupor.

I've been using a 1~1.2 ohm 28ga build. I get decent vapor production out of it and it heats up fairly quickly.
