I hope it all works out for you-
Of all my years of online shopping and using many US and China vendors I never had a problem until the one US vendor Vaping 100.com- still after all that they were still showing the sold out item as In Stock- these were coils I needed for my Asvape Cobra tanks- very hard to find in the US, so when I saw a US vendor had them I jumped on trying to buy 4 packs from them. My usual vendor Vapor DNA had sold out of them- so I tried that new vendor- no coils sent to me and had do do my 1st charge back.
That whole experience showed me that I needed to buy and use RTAs and RDAs and not be so dependent on factory coil tanks!

I've definitely put on the brakes. In the last two weeks I've spent $452 on vape gear and juice. Mostly juice. Enough is enough.

If I see a sale on either Falcon M2 or Falcon King M-Dual coils, a killer price on Falcon King or ehpro Raptor tanks (the Raptor takes Falcon King coils), or a mod I'd like (single or dual 18650) for an unbelievably killer price, I might jump. Possibly just the right RTA. Otherwise I'm down to replacement coils and juice as I need them.

If nothing else: My wife has pretty much reached her limit with my spending on this, and I can't honestly say I blame her. $452 in two weeks... [IMG]

Grabbed some more flavorings and another bottle of nic before the vapewars infiltrate my state. Nic river had a 25% off sale on some of the flavors (wish it'd been all). Got some for kings custard, water malone, some stuff to try and sort out a decent cotton candy for my mom, working on a candy cane flavor, got some for a boost remix recipe.

I meant that I don’t want to fall down the rabbit hole anymore than I have! I’m trying to control my spending a bit, but it’s not really working.

Yep, a Cut and a Spruzza. I really like them, it’s just I have to learn to build! I really was referring to not buying all kinds of gear, since I can’t really afford it now.

You’re doing better than me at $450. I spent a little over a grand in the last few weeks. Mostly on juice, nic and flavors! Plus some gear.
    My hubs ain’t happy either.

My wife would've gone spare if I'd done that.

So here's what I did today that was vape related: I figured out I'd been doing it wrong [IMG]

After using my Falcon and Falcon King tanks at 55W and getting very tasty vapes, I somehow got it in my head I should lower the wattage. I think this happened on that one day I overdid it and suffered vape fatigue. (See: Gah! Vape Tongue!) So I spent the week chasing flavour that just didn't seem to be there any more. I could switch juices and kinda sorta get it back, but not the heavenly vapes I'd been enjoying before.

I was beginning to despair just a bit :(

Then, earlier this evening I got to thinking "In all these reviews I see these people vaping at, like, 70, 80 watts or more. Maybe I need... more power?" So I bumped my power up to 55W (which is where I'd been before) and, lo and behold: The flavour was back! In spades! Switched to a tank with a totally different flavour category of juice: Same thing. On to a third tank, w/yet another flavour: Bingo!

    Happy again :)

Don't ask me why it took me so long to figure that out, but you can be sure it's not a lesson I'll likely forget ;)

You could always buy pre-made coils. Then all you have to do is slide them in there

Spruzza will juice the well and get the wick juicy, with the Cut you can quonk into the coil {as long as rda doesn't leak}, and the bottle will draw juice back out when you let go so as not to vape a submerged or partially submerged coil.
If neither came with an RDA you're still more than 1/2 way to squonking.

Mr. Meowgi sent me the Cut and a Recurve, as well as some of his coils. Super nice pif on his part. So eventually I’ll have to learn but for now, I’ve got a few coils.
I haven’t used the Spruzza yet since I’m not sure how to do it. Plus I’m not sure if I can just stick the Recurve on top as it is.
But thankfully I’ve got mods that I like, and the Cut for something special!

Thanks, Deb. That would be great. There are great coil makers here, so we’re lucky. I think my Spruzza has the pump thing like yours. I have to watch some reviews. But it’s pretty!

Bling it up! It’s yours and it’s all about what you like! That’s the cool thing about vaping, it’s really unique. No one will say that something’s wrong, unless you’d be hurting yourself...like with batteries or something. Go crazy! :be artistic lol:

Lmao! My husband thinks I’m crazy I’m diving into all this... but two days ago his coil burnt and he didn’t know how to replace it. I felt like a badass when I had to do it for him.

Ha ha! That’s great. Cool that you’re both vaping. My old man (to use NJ speak lol) is still dual using. But way less than he was. Two packs a week instead of two a day. I’m not complaining! He’s from Roselle Park, btw. But went to HS in the City, so he thinks he’s a NY’er. Lol

Lol. Well I’m from the country in PA. And when I became an “adult” (still not there yet) I moved all over PA until I found Bethlehem, PA and loved it there and stayed there for several years. I literally just moved to jersey and have no idea where anything is unless it’s right in Phillipsburg. I’m learning vaping... I’m learning jersey... too much info for my small brain:tantrum:

It's only 3 steps, well, 4 for you.

    1. Cancel home internet.
    2. Cancel phone data plan.
    3. Adhere to the no porn policy on library computers.
    4. No more China trips looking for mods.

Giving my Vaporesso vape pen some love as it's been completely neglected for the last several months. Loaded it with Sour Strings to finish off the last couple of tanks of that flavor. In a bit, I'll clean the coil and tank in Solomon 3 RTA and start a new flavor...while deciding what to choose...:wait:

Loaded an Escribe DragonTheme for the DNA 75C Vicious Ant Primo- saved the original Vicious Ant Theme, just in case.
Well after I loaded the Dragon Theme and fired- all worked great except there was a continuous blinking red to green light- long after firing- the only way I could get it to stop was to turn the mod off- well I went into editor- x'ed out those lights- reloaded the Dragon Theme- all working perfectly- yippee!
The Date and time are now correct as well- lol!

Personally, I never found building coils particularly difficult. (Who knows, these days, though? My fingers aren't as nimble as they were even three short years ago.) My problem was always wicking. Get it just right and everything was wonderful. Too much wick and there'd be little flavour, tendency for dry hits and short wick life. Too little and there'd be leaking.

I just split up 2.5 liters of 100mg nicotine into amber colored boston round glass bottles, with polycone caps. I've never split up this much at one time :D. I was holding my breath as much as I could but it went pretty smooth.

I have been making my own coils for years. I don't think it's something Rhianne is wanting to do though, so I wanted her to know she can buy them already "wrapped" ( for lack of a better word )

I have found that tanks have gotten more forgiving as far as wicking. Or at least a lot of them. Some are still a PITA :)

Made a ~ 0.30 ohm coil of two strands parallel 26 awg Kanthal A1 wrapped 4 times around 3 mm ID. Put it in the Gorge RDA on the shiny silver CV mod, swapped out the Stainless cap for the pee colored plastic (Yes, I know it is called Ultem, plastic is plastic to me."They all look alike.") one.

Yes, now snowflakes can go get all bent over me being anti-thing and plastic racist. ;):):teehee:

How's it a doing?! Well, it suits me just peachy. If it you don't suit you all I can say is "huh." :D
