I bought a couple boxes of nitrile gloves for handling Nic but am trying to find something reusable. Thought about plain kitchen gloves or some type of rubber work gloves. What's working for you?

Nitrile gloves are much easier to work with. I would imagine the chance of error rises significantly when performing measurements involving single drops and wearing gloves that limit your sense of feel. I don't DIY, but wear nitrile gloves quite often.

I usually dont use any, but usually mix near kitchen sink, so I can easily rinse and wash at the sink if need be. The few times I do use them, I use the nitrile gloves; boxes of them are cheap at Sams.
