Every Saturday it is my turn to make dinner. I have no idea what to make today. Last week I made Beef Stroganoff, the week before I made Spaghetti, the week before I made Swiss Steak, the week before that Homemade Philly Cheese Steaks.

I need some ideas...

I am batching it today.

Made a monster multi colored Rotini pasta salad. Corn, peas, beans, bacon bits, black olives and peppers. Coated with a custom salad dressing. Oil and vinegar, garlic and Italian herbs.

Once it has been cooled down in the fridge, it will be topped with grated Parmesan and Romano cheese with some garlic and cheese croutons.

Served with a bad movie (no porn just bad theater) and cold beer/

Check out Caff's Foodie thread for lots of ideas. I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond a couple weeks ago and picked up a Stufz- http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/1/1/183060-stufz-stuffed-burger-maker.html -for making stuffed burgers. I mixed up some canned mushroom stems and pieces, grated smoked gouda and real bacon bits, and stuffed the burger with that. Topped them with mushroom gravy on ciabatta rolls. Best burger EVer.

I'm pretty sure the spreadable tactical bacon I'm making later today doesn't count as a meal, unless you also eat nutella from the jar with a spoon. There's recipes on the web, just not mine. Mine has 9 versions and this one is Gluten Free because I'm sending a jar to a friend who is very sick and can't have gluten.

Well, I have a cold so I am making some "Feel Better Chilli Soup"

Easy to make.

Two cans of stewed tomatoes.
One can of Chili, no beans.
One can of Chili beans.
One can of Spinach.
1 Tbsp of Worcestershire sauce.
One beef bouillon cube.
1-1/2 tsp of garlic powder

Mix and simmer until it thickens a bit.

Serve hot.

I know this sounds funky but it helps. Does amazing with hangovers as well.
