WTF 8 COILS?

Okay, I was cruising ebay looking for rda supplies and ran across something called caterpillar coils, decided to check them out and OMFG dude had 8 of them in a rda. It was a 3 post and he had them one over other 4 on each side. Is this actually possible?

I plan to try a 4 coil build but 8 just seems too insane.

Also been seeing a lot of people lately running "double barrel" coils. They look like a normal coil bent in half vertical coils not too appealing to me as with a Royal Hunter, doesnt seem like they would wick effectively. Getting a SMPL and Royal Hunter from a friend soon and plan to run the occoasional 0.075 build and 0.25 constant build in it. Hoping the RH will accept triple twisted 20awg. Have never built down to 0.075 so not sure what I will need. I know 20 should work easily for a 0.25

I actually know a guy running a frigging lawn mower battery (12v 440 Amp) for a home made mech he built but has yet to find a setup that will work. He keeps popping the. coils. He running a Goliath rda with. dual triple 20 twist & 8 wrap non contact coils

Of course. You can shove as many coils as you want into the holes of your RDA.

Well.......been thinking about IF/WHEN I get my refund from the company that scammed me on my liquid getting either a copper SMPL clone & copper Doge X clone or copper mutation x mod & copper v4 clones, 20 awg, cotton and vtcs from Fasttech so been looking at options. Anyone got any idea where to get a copper mod, copper rda, some wick and wire with a couple vtc4s for around $50? I know most will say go cherry bomber with derringer but wanna get building down
