Nice find huck!
Personally I use the eneloop rechargeable AA batts. i got 4 of them for 20 bucks with a charger and been using them for years and still get 20+ hours usage per charge and always have a fresh pair to swap out. it's the way to go for sure.

why dont they just make these things so they take 18650s
That would be scary. Think how many vapers are completely uninformed how to safely charge and handle these. Extend it to kids etc.... Doesn't seem like a good idea.

We have AA rechargeables and these charger packs so I need to look and see if they are part of the recall. Thanks huck!

For years we've had battery powered devices, batteries in cars, batteries in toys, rc cars, game controllers (since the 80's), walkman's, discman's, remote controls etc. Welcome to the 21st century where we've all forgotten how to make decent batteries for no fucking reason. Cell phones melting and blowing up, laptops catching fire, hoverboards.. pretty much anything with a battery these days is a fricken time bomb. Well done science, we applaud you.

Seriously, thanks for the heads up Huckleberried. May have saved quite a few gamer folks or kids some heartache (and injury).
