Hi all, I'm not completely new to vaping but I'm new to vaping non-cigalikes.
I'm not sure yet if I'm completely ready to give up my cigs, but I'm loving the hobby aspect of vaping and I really like not having to go outside and smoke. I live in Arizona, so the plan is to be completely off of the stinkies before it gets completely unbearable. Right now I'm being girly and having fun with all the SHOPPING. Which is actually really weird for me since I hate spending money, but this stuff is so FUN.
I couldn't wait for my stuff to come in the mail so I went out and got a CE4 and some juice to tide me over. I get obsessive with new things to do, you should have seen when I took up knitting... I think I honestly spent more on knitting than I have so far on going crazy with the juices.
So far I use maybe 3ml/day constantly vaping so the... 20 bottles i have coming should be good for A WHILE. I'm using 6mg nic liquids because the smokes I have are foreign and nicely labeled 7mg. I got a 12 yesterday from a local shop and immediate noticed the higher nic and started getting a headache, so I think I made the right choice.
Since I've been all buying crazy for the past few days I didn't want to get in trouble buying myself more stuff so I got my mom an ecig and juice too, she's been sucking on those nic lozenges for the past year since she had a stroke so she's not allowed to smoke anymore and they're messing up her throat and not being able to breathe worse than smoking. So I bought her stuff and I can mark it off as a mothers day present so the Mr doesn't get mad at my spending
I think this will probably be the easiest way to quit because it is a replacement. And there's a gazillion flavors out there. Moreover though, it's FUN, and I think that's really important because I think people like me who smoke because we want to, more than the nic addiction, need something social and fun to replace cigs because we use them for boredom and socialising. Something to do.
I'm kind of flakey about new things that could be hobbies. Especially actual hobbies, total hobby ADD, I see something on pinterest and I get all crafty for about a week to a month then I have all this stuff I touch maybe once a year if I get unbearably bored.
So I hope that because of the millions of different setups and flavors vaping will always feel new and fun.
We'll see how it holds up to the stress smoking from my son driving me insane. Haha
