Congratulations @MD_Boater and I am going into my 4th year myself. I do not count the 3 or 4 years I was Dual Using because I do not consider that when I quit! Keep on keeping on!
I was a duel user for 5 days. Vape only from then on.
My actual last thought before knocking the fire off of my very last cigarette and tossing it in the trash can after only 2 puffs was, "This tastes like ass. I like vaping better.". From that moment on, I never had a craving or even been close to being tempted to take a puff. Vaping made me think smoking was disgusting in only 5 days. A true miracle for me. I feel like I cheated since it was so easy and painless. As a bonus, my doctor officially changed me to "former smoker" in my medical records. Now when I go in to see the doctor for a hangnail, they actually talk about fingernails for the entire appointment!
I’m coming up on my 1-year anniversary on the 21st.
