shorter of breath and one day closer to death?

If I'd a known I was this hard to killI think it's time for the old farts' cheer.... "If I'd known I would live this long..." C'mon say it with me!

Same here. In elementary school had a teacher that had a cat problem. I brought him my pump bb/pellet gun to use. Then in middle school he started teaching there. Brought and let him use my 22 for a squirrel problem. In high school our guns stayed in the gun rack in the back window of the truck during hunting seasons. Hell we even had skeet shooting team that practiced at school. Even remember after Christmas one year carrying my semiauto shotgun into the principals office to show it to him. (Remington 1100)In middle school I walked during squirrel and rabbit season so I could hunt on the way back to the house. I used to leave the rifle (bolt action .22lr) in a locker in the Assistant Principles office and take the bolt with me. (Not because I was afraid it would get stolen but because the AP didnt want any guns in the building that could fire. If the bolt was out before it came in the door it didn't matter if it was unloaded or not!)
I think 10 years would now be the sentence....
