So I'm assuming many of you have successfuly quit smoking, but do you ever think you'll try to quit vaping?
Vaping is amazing because instead of having 4000 chemicals and 43 known carcinogens in it like analogs, there are only about four chemicals ( or more considering what the flavoring consists of) in ejuice. It's also a lot cheaper than smoking.
But vaping is still bad for you and it still costs money, and we can't ignore that just because it's only a fraction as harmful and costly as smoking.
I find vaping can be very enjoyable, but nicotine is not something you want in your body your entire life, and I'm sure some negative long term effects of inhaling perhaps vg, pg, flavoring, or particulates from wick/wire will arise in several decades.
I find it hard to imagine ever stopping since the only way I can quit smoking is to vape, and there are not really any healthier (and effective) alternatives to vaping. I think that I should try to quit someday though.
Now, don't take this thread as a dis to vaping. I know that it probably pisses vapers off just as much as smokers when you tell them they should quit and it's bad for them. I'm not telling any of you to quit; I'm only curious if any of you have considered giving it up in the future, or if you have tried.
Also, please excuse me if I am innacurate in terms of how many chemicals are in ejuice. I know there is water, pg, vg, nicotine, and flavoring, but I'll admit I have no idea what the flavors are made of. (I'd really like to know what's in the flavors if any of you know.) I am also considering any byproduct that may be inhaled when wick and wire are heated.
