I'm very tempted to just pick up and move to Washington. I LOVE the pacific northwest. I'd go for Vancouver but that place is crazy expensive, and I still need to apply for my citizenship (I can because of my Dad though).
My brother has lived in Bellingham for over 20yrs..he loves it up there too..been steelhead/salmon fishing with him on the Skagit and mule deer/elk hunting on occasion.. It's indeed beautiful but a little too cold for me..I'm a southern boy, and always lived south of I-10, where it's always nice and warm, lol

I lived out in Montana for a few years, I LOVED the weather, actual weather! Southern Cali born and raised, so it was a treat for me. I've taken quite a few trips up to the Pacific Northwest in my life and every time I've just fallen in love with it. I enjoy the rain (though I understand it can be troublesome) and just green everywhere. It's always a thought in the back of my mind to just pack my car full of my necessities and head up, figure it out when I get there. But I'm applying for a job up there right now hopefully I get a call back, we'll see.

Boeing is big up there.. And so is the Naval Shipyard in Bremerton. I even think ProVape is in Monroe..I did like fishing for lingcod on Puget Sound with an outfit called Dogfish Charters out of Tacoma. But all the times I've been up there it's rained almost Non-Stop and even snowed a little bit in Tacoma. But like I said my brother really loves it and wouldn't live anywhere else. :)

Butte, literally the asshole of the world, there's a giant hole right outside that's one of the most toxic places on the planet, such that a bird flies too low it's dead :D, loved that place though. Funny thing is when I was set on going there I found out my favorite highschool teacher was raised there, and one of my best buddy's uncles owned a bar out there (that ended up being the bar that all the sports teams would buy the kegs from). Small world right?

That's what I understand to be the main issue, is the constant rain. Not that the rain itself is an issue, but the fact that yardwork does have to be done, and doing it in the rain is quite a pain, so the day it does clear up you HAVE to do all the general maintenance on the exterior and if that involves some painting well, you sit and pray afterwards that it isn't all washed away. But, the place is just so majestic. I liked Montana but it was a bit more barren, there were foresty areas I'd go hike through, but I always liked just eating dinner then start walking, and just wander in the middle of the night, trees would have been so much nicer :D

Hello. I seem to have lost 716 posts and 718 likes.
I see folks are posting about this happening to them also
so I'm relieved it's not only me, but do you know WTF?

As usual I'm working my way backwards on this thread
so please excuse me if this has already been explained.

Regards.

Edit: Ok, I've read back to the start now
and see nobody knows and for sure this didn't happen only to me
so never mind...but if anybody can clue me in
I'd appreciate it.

Some fucking hacker. They LITERALLY fuck up EVERYTHING.

Hope everyone else has had a lovely day!

Today was our day to go up and clean my folks' house, so all I saw this morning was that I was banned for 90 yrs, then finally that was over, barely had time to make 2-3 posts, and then boom, VU was down again and never came back up before I had to leave. Just got back and had a quick dindin of leftovers, and my husband went back, to stay overnight, so my mom won't be alone. My stepdad's back in the hospital. They finally let him out of rehab, he was home 3 days, then boom, he started acting weird... maybe had another stroke, we just dunno. So it's still very up in the air with him. My husband brought me home so our cat doesn't have to be all alone -- he's very protective of his baby. :D And also because if my mom and i spend too much time together, we fight, and neither of us needs that right now.

So glad to see that VU is back, even if my post count seems a little short, it's not by much, and as big a blabbertypist as I am, I'll make up the diff in a day or two. :D

Thx Huck.. me too. It's very scary, and none of us know what's going to happen with him, or with my mom. Her health has gotten bad again too; she has diabetes (runaway) and cirrhosis (more or less arrested), and fights with fluid build-up constantly, because she won't take her lasix properly -- if she does, she wets herself constantly, and with the fluid in her legs, she can't move fast enough to prevent it. She's probably going to need to go in the hospital soon herself; she has to, once or twice a year, to be catheterized and get the Lasix as prescribed, or the fluid gets into her lungs. She's got COPD too, so can't be having that. I told her maybe she and my stepfather could have a shared room; I was trying to joke with her, but I don't think she thought it was very funny. :(

Where are you from? I am in Pennsylvania, northeastern corner by NY

Atlanta... live in metro ATL, about 25 miles NE, in Gwinnett county, right outside the town of Lawrenceville. It's pretty much spring here -- the yellow-green snow season, as the trees shed pollen EVERYWHERE AND ON EVERYTHING.

Finally got my new rose planted yesterday, and today was cloudy with occasional misty rain, so that's good for the newly planted rose. :)

Andria are you going to check out Mod Envy tonight? Skullzz if you don.t go there maybe you should go check it out too!

Nahhh... Even though I'm no longer wallowing in self-pity as I was last week... it just doesn't seem like my kind of thing. My vaping style and hardware is really a throw-back, which is weird considering I've been vaping just a bit over 2 yrs... but all the new stuff, pft, does nothing for me. I don't need or want massive watts, massive airflow, nor subohm anything, nor tanks of any kind. Just me and my 30w mods and Achilles RDAs, we're happy as clams. :D Heck, I'd probably still be vaping cartotanks if I could get any flavor out of 'em! :D

I was thinking of watching something silly, OnDemand. My comedy taste and my husband's is a bit different, but he's not here, so i can watch whatever the hell I wanna watch. :D Or maybe just lookup goofy youtube vids. :D
