Simply click on it and speak normally into your phone, it will type exactly what you say and even punctuate it how you say it , using like a question mark automatically.. Once typed hit the send button at the top of the page and that's it..hope this helps,

MacMall has some decent pricing...check them out
http://www.macmall.com/n/MacBook-Pro/macNavLinks-macNavLinks.222

Have you tried using your voice recognition with tapatalk?

Yep. MacMall is cheaper, because they're either "B" stock, or refurbished. I bought my v4 iMac from them, it had full warranty, and I got AppleCare for three years, too (that was an expensive addition). My ex kept it in the divorce; I cleaned everything out that was mine, and then some... she called, and asked what happened to all of the good software...

I answered, "It's mine. Why would you need Pro Tools, anyway? You can't carry a tune in a paper bag."

She said, "The sound from the computer sucks. Where's those speakers?"

Answer: "They're mine. They are tools of my trade. Hell, you got the computer, I had to sell my bike, and I'm done talking with you. Crack an egg in your beer, and have a nice life."

I haven't talked to her since. I had chosen recovery. She still drinks, every day.

I'm now blessed with @Liz Wonder. May everyone have a stellar afternoon - I'll check back later. Liz sends her love (me, too) to @Jimi, @Saddletramp1200, @Breazy_Com, and anyone here not feeling well, or heartbroken. We're here for you. ;)

Why even bother trying to sleep. Now I know why my grandfather didn't even bother to get up out of his chair after a point. Went to bed at 11. Up at 2 to pee, like every night. Not only a good time for insomnia to kick in, but once again I'm forced to listen over and over to the soundtrack of Tinnitus, The Musical. Damn thing repeats with every beat of my heart as a whole other orchestra of gut-related problems jam in harmony. I can barely think or write or do anything but go crazy. Can hear that ringing loud and clear but can barely hear anything else these days. How the hell does that work? Music isn't even fun anymore. My wife has to speak for me at restaurants because I can't hear what anyone is saying. I answer questions people never ask like some kind of lunatic. This sucks. Time for Borg implants. I hope Breazy and Pete and Jimi and the rest of you sickos are feeling better. Sorry for the long rant, just in a mood today.

I've got vapemail approaching my location from 3 different directions, tracking it like a Predator on Schwarzenegger, so I'm gonna focus on that. :)

Peace.

I have to keep a fan running in my bedroom when I'm trying to sleep, to drown out a) the barking dogs around here, and b) the noises from my body -- abdominal gurgles, wheezing lungs, and even snoring sometimes (I don't do it often but when I do, it wakes me!). But I'm a woman; if I didn't get up to pee at least once per night, I'd think I was dead. :D

Morning gang, though it's long past... Slept late, then I was playing with all the ECF refugees in one of roxy's threads. :D Been having a godawful headache lately; feels like sinus, but no other symptoms, so I dunno. I'm not allergic to all the tree pollen out there, but maybe just the sheer quantity of it is giving my sinuses fits.

I think I must have a bladder about the size of a walnut. When I was pregnant, I had fantasies of having a catheter, or just living in the bathroom. :D It never failed; we'd get ready to go somewhere, I'd go pee, we'd leave, and just when I got settled in the car.... kick to the bladder. "Honey, guess what..." :D Plus, last night I was trying to drink gallons of water, to try and help this sinus/headache thing, so I think I got up for the bathroom 3 times last night.

Have not got it yet. I better stop for now. This phone is starting to look like a target. I have V 5.1.

Your Android OS is called 'Lollipop.' We just made it to 'Marshmallow.'

Freedom is slowly dwindling... I'm thinking about taking my old HTC Evo 4G in for repairs, run Gingerbread with root and admin permissions, and screw the carrier, Google (the new Microsoft), GPS and Location settings...

Then, I'll use my AARP to get a 5 gb data plan with U.S. Cellular with unlimited talk and text for $30 a month, get the MEID and number from U.S. Cellular, put it into the older phone, and wheeeee...!

Freedom.

LW & Liz (she's napping... soooo adorable) :D :D :D :D

Back in the old days I used to use a program called dragon Naturally Speaking. It was ahead of its time but this is unreal my computer may get a jealousy complex

?
I have Dragon and rarely use it, my doctor knows how to talk to it and it works well for him
but I can type much faster with my fingers than with my tongue...LOL

I just got NVDA, it's FREE and it's great. The voices sound natural and I when I use it
I don't have to read. It reads anything you hover the mouse over.

Just passing by looking for a treat.
Y'all have a nice afternoon.

LOL..I used to be a Broadcaster...
thinking of becoming a Comcaster for Xfinity...
It's ATT @18Mbps or Comcast @75Mbps for the same $ + or - a few cents.
Which would you choose?
Is it worth the aggravation?
Comcast, much more stable, I get 100Mbps on wireless, 130Mbps Ethernet, I'm on Blast, the most bandwidth of any supplier, any! ;)

Ok! I don't want their TV or VOIP service, like I mentioned I used to do TV
and neither the uverse or xfinity video quality even come close to DVD quality
let alone HD.
For a landline phone I use BasicTalk for now but probably go with Oooma soon
so I just want FAST inet.
Can you tell me what type cable, RG-6 or what (for a self install..I like my cable straight and pretty..)
and how much is the modem so I don't have to rent it.???

Motorola surfboard modem 3.0, can't recall exact model #. You can get it for around $50, going to have wifi? If so what router do you have or have you considered?

Some areas of the country Comcast uses RG-8, and some use RG-6, Best Buy and Wallies carry compatible modems. The last time I looked they ran from about 100 bucks to about 200-300. It's all about speed.

The last I heard they won't sell internet service individually I don't like that at all exclamation point

Sent from my LGMS345 using Tapatalk

Really? When we first moved here, in the fall of '11, all I got from Comcast was internet. It was expensive that way though... $70/mo just for internet, at the time I think it was 25mbps. Now it's 125mb, but we have the triple play, so the internet part isn't too high. But soon we're going back to direcTV, so I'll fall back to a double[play pkg with comcast... for which I'm sure they'll charge me out the ass.

They finally got hip that a lot of people use netflix and the like.
I haven't had cable tv in over 20 years.

When you switch add a premium channel then it is a upgrade and you can get a deal.

Directv ain't worth the BS and the quality leaves much to be desired.
If you do get a BIG dish so the signal won't drift as much in the GA rain
(yup, I was a production and broadcast eng at an Earth Station)

We had DirecTV when we first moved here, and the quality was ok, not much interference -- actually we've had a lot more trouble with one of our comcast boxes than we ever did from satellite. What we didn't like, at the time, was how they ambushed us with the rate increase in the 2nd yr of the contract. But, now we know about that, so it wouldn't be an unpleasant surprise, and we're doing a lot better financially than we were then.

Direct advertises 1080p, nope 720p max, the only 1080p from them is a downloaded movie, if you can wait several hours to download it.

In my opinion, slightly educated as it is, it ain't worth it.
You can stream much better quality or download flicks elsewhere w/o the aggravation or interference
Even in Miami one needs a 36 inch dish to keep the signal from drifitng in slight rain.
When it pours find something else to do.
A chick I know has directv internet..don't want that either though
the idea is fascinating to me

Well, our choices are comcast, direcTV, or dish network. We already know that comcast sucks a huge weenie, and we're sick of 'em. We've heard that satellite transmission from dish network may be substantially inferior than from direcTV... and direcTV really wasn't bad at all, a few glitches here and there, but nothing major -- it was the 2nd yr ambush that really pissed us off, but now, "forewarned is forearmed."

On the custSvc side of things.... I had a few infuriations with direcTV, but on the whole, it wasn't too bad. With Comcast, there was a period of about 4-5 months at the end of last year when I had to spend more than an hour every month on the phone with some IDIOT in custSvc, who tried to tell me that they DID speak english, but they certainly did NOT, and trying to get them to understand that I was not going to pay for a svc call for a MALFUNCTIONING CABLEBOX to someone incapable of understanding english -- TWICE! -- was probably the most infuriating experience of my life. So they can FOAD; I may have to keep internet from them, to keep high-speed, and for a while I'll still get phone from them... but soon, I'll be redirecting our TV dollars to a company where the custSvc folks actually DO speak english.

One could send a letter by USPS faster than directtv internet.

Right. As long as it's docsis and less than 200 bucks (50 would be better)
I'm most concerned with the wire. The cust serv chicks on the phone or comcast store have no clue and I haven't seen an installer to ask. I have plenty of rg6 from a new tv antenna install, but maybe they'll want crappy wire or rg8...
Guess I have to go drive around..and find a guy..If I do he (or she) will probably wanna sell me a hot modem
