Mornin' gang. Slept late, but actually made it here while it's still AM, yay. Still waiting on the tea and tylenol to work on the headache -- which is better, but not completely gone yet. I'll take better, after the misery I endured last week.

Yikes. What all happened? We all have so many problems around here I lose track, sorry. You were not feeling well...hope you feel better. Listen to some Yes, those good vibes soak into everything.

Not really sure; I think the jury is still out on whether I've been fighting a virus, or still fighting a bacterial sinus infection -- I was feeling better yesterday, but when I had that sinus infection back in the fall, I'd sometimes have good days like that, making me think I was on the mend. So I'm still just observing it, trying to eat carefully, stay hydrated, rest a lot. I have a checkup appt next week with my asthma doc, so if I'm still sick then, at least I won't be waiting the 5 weeks I waited back in the fall, to get treatment. Haven't been running any fever this time, which makes the bacterial infection seem less likely; I may be doing just fine by the time I see the doc next week.

It's really weird... when I smoked, if I got so much as a trifling cold, I sounded like I had freaking TB or something, all the deep-chest mucusy coughing, the whole-body involvement. Now... it's kinda hard to tell if I'm sick. :D But I have been coughing up just a little, first since I laid down the smokes almost 2 yrs ago, and that makes me think, probably a virus like a cold or maybe a mild case of flu, given the digestive upset. So if that's the case, it'll run its course in its own time.

And I'm now back. Got me a good nap In and now I'm waiting for the gf to decide what were going to do today lol. Yesterday we went to the river. Today we might take the poochie to the park and walk some trails. Or we might end up staying home and watching a movie or two

Threw the last coat of paint on the dresser. Spilled paint on myself, good thing I didn't like those jeans.. Super happy with the color this time. Custom mixed with random old paints I had around and it came out perfect. Now to give it a few hours then hit it with wax.

Are you still painting that same dresser
Yeah I wasn't happy with the color. Needed to add the shelf still and that needed paint too so I just started throwing things together on a whim lol. This was a $20 goodwill find that was a very expensive brand antique, but I hated the beige color and weird purple flowers on it. My daughter used it for years and someone gave us a much nicer one for her. So it's been sitting for 6 months til I figured out what to do with it and how lol. Took out top drawers and added a shelf there, it's now a mint entertainment stand

I used to bring stuff home and fix it up but Jane won't let me anymore, says it's all junk. I envy her brother. His wife let him bring home a soda vending machine once. I participated in how drunk he got when he bought it, too.

I'm far from a pack rat. I get rid of stuff very easily and quickly lol. I just hate to get rid of furniture, at least the sturdy good stuff. If some elbow grease and paint can make it beautiful and functional there is no point in replacing it.
