Usually stupid people die before they get this old, so I'd call it an accomplishment -- I've survived a control-freak ex, drugs and alcohol addiction, raising a kid, almost 29 yrs of mostly happy marriage, menopause, dire poverty almost to the point of homelessness... and cigarette addiction! Things are really looking up, these days, compared to all THAT.

Peachy, Peaches! I had a wondermous day yesterday. Blowing shit away. 8 hours of learning to be a better (safer too) shooter. I only practice alone, in my yard. I had NO IDEA how bad some people SUCK. These are CPL holders. God forbid anyone ever does anything actionable in their presence. The hosing that the surrounding innocents is going to take..
WTF people. If you really feel a need to carry, at LEAST spend the range time to make sure you aren't going to spray innocent people. Some didn't even know how to operate their firearm properly! This isn't Crochet, where you can put it aside for some other weekend, and undo your mistakes later.
Eh, I guess it was the "No Child Left Behind" training methodology.. It got old waiting for the weekend warriors to get up to speed so we could move on.

I love shooting and miss it all the time. I started around 5 years old shooting with my grandpa, he made muzzleloaders and canons and stuff. Got knocked on my ass many times with the kick back, but loved every minute of it. Used to be a pretty good shot but haven't had a chance to go in years now
Honestly that was the best possible way for me to learn. Hoping to teach the kids fairly soon how to shoot. Gave me respect for them very early on and I never lost it
I'm not sure this is the place I wanna be, I leave for a lil bit and you guys start talking about my hubby. I think I'll just take an internet break altogether.
Maybe I missed something, but I don't know you yet. I think I speak for all of us that we are more than happy to have you here, and hope you'll stay.
