I had gotten 50/50 and now I'm a little concerned about that.
top of the morning, folks!

i have been mixing with 50/50 from jump street - give it a couple hours on the counter to contemplate its sins, shake like an unappreciated political candidate and then go for broke... so far, so good :)

Geez, I feel like the woman in that book Insomnia, this waking up early shit. Goddamn leg cramps. :cuss2: So, mornin', let's not get into value judgments. And GFYs merrily. I gotta replace the stickers on this keyboard today, I'm tired of guesswork typing -- I *know* where the letters are, but still... being able to see them would be great. Stupid fingernails.

LOL, good morning Andria! :) Sounds like it can only get better. :)

Morning Doc! :)

Well, it's looking up. Got half the letters re-labelled anyway. :) And that does help, seeing a few more letters gives me better clues what the unlabelled ones are. But I've relabelled this keyboard about 4 times now, it may be time to bite the bullet and see about getting a new one -- I'm just so picky, really want *true* spacing of the letters like a real typewriter keyboard, and this one is the closest I've found in a long time. It's hard to touch type when the spacing of the keys is outta whack.

My last ex made the weakest, shittiest coffee. We had to have 2 coffee makers, mine and his.
Normally I dont measure coffee grounds when making a pot, I pour them in until it looks about right :D

The ex's mom had a come-apart the first time she seen me make coffee, yet when she tried it she said I make a damn good cup of joe :coffee2:

I was piddling with numbers, just to see. Figured I could set up with 5 yrs of unflavored 50%P/%50V juice at either 6% or 3% for less than $20 year. Upfront costs though are around $80. May find lower prices for P&V, not sure there's lower for C(nicotine concentrate).

Decent modest squonking kit might run about $40. This is to cover shipping, figuring about $25 for Reo style mod, ~$10 Velocity style rda. I have two batteries which ought to last me a little bit. Can pick up two more later for ~$20 or less. I'm seeing ~$140 getting me 5 yrs. If I average that to yearly, I'm at ~$28 yr.. If I budget and follow correctly, think I may get more ahead.

Wow! $28 yearly compared $1,440 year @ $5 pack or $60 carton to account taxes for cigarettes, can see a lot of difference $1,412 in difference every year. Sure, I can see why they want to stop vaping. That's over 1k a year they're not getting from one chump. Thought I heard there were are at least a million of us. That's about $1,000,000,000 that they'll not get each year. I have to look that up, but I do think it's a billion.

Do that for five years, let them see losing 5 billion bucks. If there's two million of us they lose 2 billion a year, five year of that takes away 10 billion. Sure, easy to see why they want vaping stopped.

That is just direct sales profit. Now, add in money taken away from cancer doctors, lung doctors, doctors in general and it cuts the medical profession's profits. It also cuts pharmaceutical profits. Hehe, it also takes profits from lawyers who would gain from suits against the medical arena. It also shows up the irrelevance of the government who litigate and try to sneakily ban vaping as a tobacco product. Prohibition does not work like torture does not work.

Will I keep vaping? That's a big Steve Austin style, "Hell Yeah!" It helps to attack those that peddle death for profit. Damn right, I'll find a way to afford vaping and keep on doing it.

I was always a heavy smoker and averaged around 3 packs a day. I figured I was spending $500/month on smoking or $6K/year. Over half that was taxes. Just think, of the estimated 9 million people in the US who quit smoking from vaping, one million was heavy smokers like me, that would estimate into 3 billion in lost taxes and 3 billion in lost revenue to BT. Then what about the lost revenue from the other 8 million who quit smoking as well as the lost revenue from people who no longer are in constant need of medical attention from smoking related illnesses.
In that light, anyone really wonder why the FDA regs are designed to eliminate vaping?

Well, I was one of the other 8 million that was probably a moderate smoker. Average me at about $3K yearly, between RYO or el cheapos. I was figuring $5 per pack on Marlboro Reds, which I'm not rightly sure is an accurate average, they may now run $7 a pack. But no, I do not have any doubts as to why they want vaping gone. It's not about health by any means. They want to tell me it is, they can go unfuck themselves because I damn sure won't think they're worth a fuck.

9 Million eh? Wow, in 5 yrs that 45 billion. Damn. I could live happily for six lifetimes off of say 1 million. May not have all the latest & greatest, or huge fancy home but I'd be alright. But then I'm nuttier than squirrel poop and know how live good off of nothing, too.

Ha ha! Guess that's what being Appalachian does ya good fer. LOL You grow living dirt poor, that is to say you so poor you can't buy dirt, and then you see all this big money that BT/BP/BG all greedily suck up and you just shake yer gob and wonder ... LOL

My ex still smokes marb reds and not long ago she asked me to pick her up a couple packs while I was out and about. $20 for two packs shocked me.

Which is why it's PAST time for us to put our collective foot down and refuse to countenance the death-profiteers for one more instant. Off with their heads! It's time for the world to profit from THEIR deaths!

So I just got a "letter" from my Senselesstor, I mean Senator. Only a few weeks after I initially wrote him. And just as ambiguous as every other lawbreaker, I mean lawmaker.

"Supporters believe the rule is an important step toward protecting public health and keeping nicotine out of the hands of minors. Meanwhile, opponents of the rule argue that it will significantly impact businesses that manufacture these products and limit consumer choices. To address this issue, H.R. 2058, the FDA Deeming Authority Clarification Act was introduced on April 28, 2015. If enacted into law, this legislation would prevent the FDA from regulating tobacco products and products with nicotine derived from tobacco that entered the market prior to May 5, 2016."

Don't tell me what supporters and opponents believe. Tell me what the fuck you believe Joe DongFuckMe, I mean Donnelly.

Guess I decided to take the red pill. Just ordered a Boreas.
altnet-are-you-ready-for-the-red-pill-2-728.jpg

Put in a FT order yesterday. Going to try some clones to see if anything is worth buying an original. Got a Goon and Narda clone, and a real Boreas. Looked at the Merlin, but 4ml, Nope. Spoiled by that big ole supertanker that is the Boreas. Loaded up on some trick wire, for Vapeocalypse, even though I have a metric shit-ton gifted to me by my Brudder that I haven't gotten around to trying yet... I guess we're all kicking into Survival mentality.

That said, I have to wonder if there isn't a giant dumping coming soon, of good mods and toppers. All that production capacity is going to take a hit if the FDA decides to put the kaibosh on FT and GB shipments.

Guess I need to get over my desire to only use stateside vendors, I could buy so much more if I bought from FT.

Anyone who uses "impact" as a verb isn't worth the effort to spit on. Because it shows that they don't have the first clue on the proper use of affect/effect (or how to structure a sentence so that "impact" is in its proper place, as A NOUN).

I've had to drive 2.5 hours to Cleveland fasting, with the migraine from no caffeine and low blood sugar :( I need to do it next month for that endoscopic ultrasound.

Sorry, I couldn't like that. My doctor told me that if you drink plain coffee, no cream or sugar like I do, then you can have it before blood work.
