My Tsunami 24 sucks! Need something new

So the only 2 RDAs i have right now are a Doge V2 in BRASS and Tsunami 24.
The 24 whistles and i just dont like it. I love the Doge V2 because it chucks clouds like a train BUT it gets SUPER SUPER hot after 3 hits thanks to subohm coils but i cant vape on non subohm because well its boring.

I have a Limitless PLUS on the way, which will be nice but i also want a decent RDA thats not going to kill my bank account. i like the subzero (got to see one in person ) but its beyond my price even used on ebay there 50 bucks WITHOUT all the parts included.

So I am after a RDA that can produce some comp clouds and not burn the hell outta my lips(rda with delrin tip) with heat build up. Any suggestions? I am open to CLONES too (that doesn't mean i dont support makers of RDA's some of us just cant afford $79 RDAs)

OK what do you guys think about the mutation x234? I really like the looks and what it features but does it chuck and have some flavors? Is it OK to get a clone or should I spend the extra 25 and get a OEM one?

As for the tsunami 24 it is a clone, it's noisy really noisy and does not hold enough juice. It wicks great chucks clouds maybe not as nice as my doge but it still does what it was ment to do. It might be my ocd just wanting something new....who knows. I'm pretty sold on the mutation x234, twisted messess v2 Squared (can't find a clone to the tm v2)

Me personally, I don't like 3 post RDAs anymore. I prefer 2 post velocity style, or clamp style like the goon, aeronaut, pharaoh etc.

I don't even know if they make a tsunami 24 clone. the authentic is only 20-30 bucks, not sure why someone would buy a clone at that price. it's not a 100 dollar RDA where people will clone and sell for 20.

The truth is pretty much any RDA will chuck clouds just fine, it depends much more on your build and mod. I use to get huge clouds on a crappy maraxus clone with a patriot clone RDA. Also on your juice. Max VG for best clouds

Maybe my tsunami 24 is real then, it probably is real as I did pay around $28ish eBay

Your right it matters on the inside (the build) I still prefer my doge because of the production it produces over the 24 with same coils, same Wicking.

I used to have a doge, gave it away when i stopped using it. Good RDA for sure, i just don't like the 3 post style anymore. limits my builds too much. The tsunami 24 blows it out of the water. I can do dual 7 wrap fused claptons on it at about .13ohm (IIRC) and it gives amazing flavor and cloud production. Didn't bring it with me today but i'll send pics when I get home. I couldn't fit that build in a 3 post RDA

That's why I think the mutation x234 would be a good rda.

I hear you on the 3 post!
The doge is tricky and really not a lot of room for too big of builds.

I have ore built Clapton which I think are fused and are 3mm diameter. Not much room. Left in the doge after two of those are inside. The 24 holds two of those coils just fine.

Im just going to jump on a x234 I either love it or hate it.

eBay, good possibility it's a Clone, you have to be very careful buying anything there. I've got some good stuff there but you really have to be skeptical and careful.

Tsunami, not a bad rda but certainly not my favorite. My favorites in no certain order are

Chaos (flavor monster)
Prophet
Lycan
X1
Velocity V2

They're all authentic

Get a Kennedy 24 clone. I have the real one and a clone. Nice thick clouds on both and they come with delrin chuff tips.

pretty much anything with a velocity style deck is good. I just don't like the mutation x234 because it only has 1 post hole and a top screw down phillips screw. I like the 2 holes per post (or 3) with side screw grub hex screws much better.

I have an authentic velocity V1, I like it, but like the tsunami better because the airflow personally. I seen a lot of RDAs, really no "best" one out there, it's mostly personal preference. The next one I try will likely be the pharaoh though

gotta build different for each RDA IMO. the air flow is actually a lot less then most of my RDAs and it's adjustable.
With the right build especially in single coil you can get some excellent flavor out of the Tsunami.

I just got my g2, slapped the tsunami 24 with two Claptons showing 0.3ohms set to 90w cloud cloud cloud!!!!!
I need to invest in 18650s
I have two 26650 hohm grown batteries for the slice but looks like the g2 owns the slice!!!

Going to build some coils later and get the tsunami down to 0.1ohm see what I get. Maybe I should just buy a fog machine drop juice in that hahaha I'm jk

To the op saying to buy a Kennedy, the tsunami is a clone of the Kennedy.
There is also two types of Kennedy clones, two post and 3 post.

one of my fav RDAs and my 2nd favorite Mod. I use my tsunami 24 on my Vt133 and man it's a pocket beast. small, lightweight, packs a ton of power and does amazing temp control

The 2 post of course. I have a Kennedy Ruby with 3 posts I drilled out. It is a beast of a hybrid mech. My best clouds are with 22 gauge SS wire, coming in at .15 (Sony VTC's of course) The flavor is wonderful due to beneath the coil airflow. That seems to be the key denominator for massive flavor and clouds.

No, I don't have either. You may be thinking of the Hatty from Blitz. I like that one better than the Tsunami. It's only a 22mm but a damn fine RDA.

Oh that may change ;)

My favorite list is a bit dynamic. It's so hard to list your favorite for they all have their pluses and minuses. Another one I didn't list was the Symbiote from Tobeco. It's a triple coil, great for a $10 rda.

This can chuck clouds that get warm but not hot in temp control. And it's small (30 ml unicorn bottle for scale) overall my favorite set up right now. Vt133 and tsunami 24. Great flavor and huge clouds instantly on firing and nearly perfect temp control

The Tsunami is by far my favorite RDA. The air flow is perfect and the flavor is great. I only use the 22 and have a 24 that just sits in a box as back up. You should check out the TMS. The flavor is decent and it creates an obscene amount of vapor.

The Tsunami24 is that kind of RDA I feel I should hate because It's cheap and Chinese, but I actually love, it's one of my favorites.
People say the Tsunami is a clone of the Kennedy buy it's not true, it's based on the Kennedy but has adjustable airflow and Velocity style deck that the Kennedy doesn't so in some ways it's an improvement.
Have both and like both but it is safe to say that if you don't like the Tsunami you won't like the Kennedy either.

ive tried different builds and so forth in the tsunami i had before i traded it off, but no matter what I did i felt the airflow was muting the flavor completely, even when i reduced the airflow. The same builds in tanks like a griffin had much more flavor in the griffin vs the tsunami for me. While the same builds in my petri v2 clone tasted the same or better then my griffin. And now that I have a limitless plus I am finding the side airflow excellent and adds to the flavor. But everyone is different and has tehir own opinions and tastes. SO what I like isnt what others like.

The tsunami 24 is definitely made for bigger builds. If you put a single 32G kenthal 6 wrap coil, you wouldn't get any flavor. But dual fused claptons in it kick some serious ass in the flavor department

Got a single massive staple staggered fused in my Tsunami24 that barely fits the deck and does wonders for flavor.
Yes I agree it does require massive coils to be effective.

Don't know how effective this build is since there is no direct airflow to the top coils, since the bottom coils are in the way.

RECOIL!!!!!!!!!
No seriously bought it yesterday and so far like the airflow and vape better than my Goon, my previous favorite.

If you want something at Tsunami prices you could try a Troll V2 (22 or 24mm) or a Sapor. Both are well reviewed. Troll for clouds, Sapor for flavor.

Do you know if the box is now a clear hard plastic case?
When i ordered my Tsunami 24 it came in a box like the Limitless plus Clear plastic box with tape.

also the drip tips all suck on my 24!
i have been getting this weird fluttering when vaping on it and finally difured it out!!! its the drip tips as soon as i remove it boom sooth as butter in inhale!!!!!! so i am using mine without any tip maybe i need to take one of the delren tips and make the edge of the inside of the tip curved so there is an angle and not a square angle. that should cut back on the stupid flutter and restriction. i like it without a tip better flow try it. oh and spit back is just added taste to me

If you were still wondering about the mutation x line, I have a Mutation X v4s. This version does have a velocity deck, great airflow, and the ability to limit airflow to create flavor. Only issue is how bottom airflow holes are placed flush with top of juice wells, so overdripping can happen and leak out the bottom. I enjoy the thing though, but this is my only rda and I really need to expand to try more out.

Yeah it comes in a plastic box. 2 drip tips and angle one and a regular one and also a 510 adapter. Tons of airflow. Idk what u mean by restricted?

I think the two plastic drip tips are faulty. Stick a glass drip tip on a RDA and you'll see what I mean. Same thing with the tips but like I did I eliminated the tip all together and it works 5x better for me.

They aren't plastic. They are Delrin and can't really be defective. Idk how u can use it without a tip. I've used glass one but most are made for 510 and lack airflow

As already stated....if you don't like the tsunami, then kennedy will be no better. Tsunami was a clone of kennedy but with a velocity deck. I don't think it is the airflow is what killed flavor, but a larger air chamber. I like a warm flavor filled vape and kennedy 24 bombed. I always liked my sapor and goon.

But i always thought the kennedy 24 to be on par with velocity as well...too large of chamber. I am gonna try to put as large of a build in it as possible and give it a try.

I did always love a derringer too.

Kennedy all the way for me. Had a Tsunami 24 and gave it away. Nice atty but flavor was always muted and it developed a 510 leak. Fuel V2 is a great atty as well, positive that someone cloned it by now

Kennedy clone or the real deal?
Minus the positive post being raised on the Kennedy clone is there any other build differences? I would prefer the OEM over clone but at this time Kennedy OEM RDAs run about 70 shillings.

The tsunami 24 is growing on me but still flavor hard to produce for me even with Clapton SS coils at 0.35ish ohms.
I have been looking at a OEM goon. Build space and deep juice well is a plus in my book.
