I would call USooPS first. (1-800-ASK-USPS Why would I know that?) Since it's not in the "file a claim" territory yet, if you are REALLY lucky you will get someone who knows what they are doing and can look into the tracking at a deeper level than what you get from web tracking. At worst, they will put a shove on it's last known location to search for the damned thing.

Beware: Their voice menu options are now a royal PITA and will fight you tooth and nail before turning you over to a live person. The good news is if you get disconnected you won't have to re-input the tracking number.

I don't think you will find one kiddo. Anything that converts electricity to heat is a real energy hog. Don't see a battery operated thing here being practical at all.

Definitely am thank you. After seeing the reports of what some people went through I didn't screw around - jumped right on the pseudophed, liquids and menthol cough drops! And ibuprofen when the back ache kicked in. Seems the people who tried to 'tough it out' without being proactive this time are the folks who ended up with some worse case scenarios.

Go to Ebay. Type in.... usb silicone heat warmer ......The first one that came up was from China and it was $1.89 . If you just type in usb heat warmer, a couple of better ones show up at the top of page.....$12.34 and $7.51 (first 2 that came up on page).

They have them on Amazon too. They don't get very good reviews. The $1.89 silicone one got the better of them, and that one ($1.89 Ebay) is like $7.99 on Amazon.
