Got back from getting a thermostat. Went to turn the AC yesterday evening and it wouldn't run the outside unit on. Then this morning the furnace wouldn't come on. Now everything works

Glad to find out it wasn't more expensive that that!

Just busted open a bottle of Loaded Glazed Donuts for breakfast! I was supposed to be waiting until my birthday tomorrow as it's a present but I ran out of juice.

Considering we're crossing international date lines here and everything I wouldn't overthink that one.

Yeah. I saw that the rep. from the company that makes the injection (that I'm getting AGAIN in my foot tomorrow) charges the Dr. $295.00 for it. Then, the Dr. injects it in my foot, and charges me $600.00...........

God bless that whole free market approach to health care.

Ok so it's really quiet here on the overnight. So Ima gonna go dark for a couple hours and get some computer maintenance done - that goes a lot faster when fiddling on the interwebs isn't bogging things down.

So my batteries STILL haven't arrived . The seller said on Monday that they will look into it (contacting USPS). I ordered something for my son (last Monday). Item shipped out of NY last Tuesday (so being one state over from NY, it SHOULD'VE arrived in 2-3 days after it shipped). It's STILL NOT here either! ......It went from NY to NJ and now it's sitting in Massachusetts . My wife and son (along with myself)....are NOT happy! .........I contacted that seller too. He doesn't seem to understand my point as to why I should've already received the item . Hoping my day doesn't go downhill from here .

Yeah. Don't wanna bitch about it, but it sucks when it happens. My son knows what he's getting, and keeps asking everyday (when he gets home from school), if it got here today .

IDK?......But the seller sells nothing other than batteries.....has been a seller for 3 years, and 30,000 good reviews with 99.8% Positive ones. I would hope that he knows how to label the package . I've purchased from him before, and never had any issues in the past.

BTW: Is anyone else have a problem with the first 12 smilies not displaying when composing a message? For several days all I get are tiny gray boxes for those first 12, in the smilie "clump" you select from and when inserted into a message being composed.

Obviously they are displaying ok when the messages actually posts.

Those first 12 are hosted directly at VU, while all the rest are hosted on imgur.
