@Just Frank suggested that a Vape Train thread be started.....so I’m starting one! Post here with everything Vape Train related. Let’s get this going, folks! Jump on the Vape Train!
I got my boarding pass today! Been vaping honeycombs smothered in golden syrup all evening (I really like both). Tommorow I'll be gettin fizzy wit it. :D

I made testers of Honeycomb, Golden Syrup, Fizzy Sherbert, and Pineapple Juice all at 5%. SnV tastes damn good so far. I got a feeling these will get even better with some time. I really suck at describing what I'm tasting. All I know is honeycomb and syrup taste really good from the get. It should be fun trying more.

Lol! I don’t think I will ever get to that level of greatness, but this last order pushed me in the direction of close to 400 Flavors. But definitely lock up the gold! The enabling will be strong in this thread!:D

Us DIY nerds are all excited about some new flavors from Vape Train out of Australia... https://www.bullcityflavors.com/VTFlavours
I'm still waiting that non Australian companies get the flavors right, or at least the labels, I can't tell you how many times I want to smack some bitch for labeling something "authentic""traditional" or raspberry and yet nothing even taste like that... Hopefully the Australians can get it right? I want to be excited too...

Share what you think of it, maybe I dont get the avocado and just wait for vegemite... :sneaka:
I still never tried veggie might but heard its amazing, maybe I need to take a trip to Australia next fall lol.

So because of you guys hyping stuff up all the time, I put an order in this morning (3am) and got the flavors probably not everyone is going/aiming for, oak barrel, avocado cream, sweet cream, butter base, Apollo feijoa, chai masala and chocolate mousse. Oh I did get fizzy sherbert as well because the hype is real on that one :(

It shipped already to my surprise, but I won't get it till Friday/Saturday since it needs to get all the way over to northern California lol. I'll do some single testing with no steep/ulta sonic steep and regular aging, and let you guys know if its amazing or horrible lol. Please who ever else got stuff do the same, maybe we find some hidden gems.

Lol my phones auto correct again... I'll leave it with veggie might sounds more powerful :bliss::bliss:

I will say that when the VT website suggests 5% as a single mix, DONT DO IT. Most of these are going to be good at 3% and under. The avocado cream is dreamy at 5% but others are way too strong in that range. I got a very "pukey" exhale from the coffee milk froth at 5, and had to empty the tank of cheesecake at 5% because it tasted like someone had thrown up on old sweat socks. :blech::blech::blech:...1-2% of that one would work out nicely, the cheesecake notes are definitely there, but I didn't really want to taste used cheesecake.

Thanks for the "heads Up"! I was planning to mix some of the Avocado Cream up later today. I've seen some flavor reviews which indicated a weak avocado flavor at lower % levels and was going to try 8%!

Oh My! It sounds like some of the VTA flavors might have a healthy amount of the dreaded (to me) butyric acid.

I saw that too, hence me ordering 30ml, so thanks to Theresa's input, I'll be having avocado cream till DEC. 2025 or even longer lol. Something to look forward too, I just hope that your second thought of butyric acid is not the same as mine, not looking forward of sampling/playing with 30ml of hulk's vomit o_O:facepalm:

That sounds dirty, like vaping underwear flavor or something
:giggle::giggle::giggle:I have a feeling that was the point.....or perhaps a sexual connotation. Cause that’s where my mind goes after 30+ years in the restaurant industry. Either way, I think the name stays.....:D

  • Honeycomb
  • Golden Syrup
  • Pineapple Juice
  • Fizzy Serbert
These ones are safe to do a 5% test. I actually think they have higher ceilings for solo mixes. I will be careful with the ones you noted Theresa.

I've seen elsewhere that most of these VTA Flavours benefit with 2+ days aging. So...to get started I mixed...
Single flavors of
5% Avocado Cream
6.5% Apollo Feijoa

Mixes...
an Ice Tea with INW Shisha Lemon and VTA Honeycomb (WIP)
a "Nutty" hodgepodge with VTA Honeycomb and VTA Golden Syrup (WIP)
a Creme Brulee (INW) with nuts and VTA Honeycomb (WIP)

Ones I have tried in a coupel of mixes so not final decisions:

Awesome - Fizzy Sherbert and Bubblegum
Good - Honeycomb, grape juice
Average - Rhubarb Compote, Sugar Cane, Choc Milk
Awful - Jam it and Marmalade

Have a few more flavours mixed up in recipes like the cheesecake, dragon fruit, glazed strawberries, hokey pokey ice cream and ordered a fair few more direct from Australia.

Like all new flavour companies, personally finding flavours hits and miss, all subjective. The good ones and above have been good enough to awesome enough to want to try a lot more but the awful ones to me really were awful

Damn....I have over 400 flavors, haven't tried an 1/8th of them....here we go again.......:)
I went from ordering or starting off 40 flavors thinking I could win the golden muffin with that. Within a week I placed another order since I was missing 1 or 2 binding flavors, by then I reached a total of 75 flavors. Before I knew it, I'm now at around 150 I think (have to check elr) and still missing most "key ingredients" when I look up some recipes that caught my interest and not mixing from scratch. Its a never ending adventure I believe. So my advice, if you not like to have 200 additional flavors in the next 4 weeks, try to ignore the diy section :snapoutofit: lmao

So do I need Avacado Cream or what? Lol
YES! My 5% mix is excellent straight out the gate, can't seem to leave it alone to see how it ages - ha! - but this will be a very useful flavor. It has a "thickness" to it that I like very well, and sweet, but not candy sweet.

Apollo Feijoa
LOVE that one! I actually think it would pair well with the avocado. ;)

Ok, ok, stop twisting my arm :giggle:. I just ordered it.
I just got an e-mail that FVIC is in stock now. So I put that on my order too.

Lol! I understand all too well. All it takes is for someone to post a recipe or to check out this thread....I’ve got a cart at BCF going. Every time.

Yeah when I was cleaning up my wish list I did the same I think for like 3 flavors, but at least they were TFA and I know I will use them :) I am sure the VT Pineapple will be good :) but pineapple flavors is one of those I seem to like all of :(

Pineapple is one I'm pretty finicky about. I hate FA, Caps golden was good when I still had dead taste buds, now it tastes like pure syrup. TFA is probably my favorite, then Inawera.

I SnV'd some and think its a good flavor. My favorite is Purilum. I'm going to use them in tandem to see what I can get. PUR is nice and tangy like real pineapple juice, but its a bit throat hitty. VT had none of that harshness and has a little different vibe. My test mix is a week old today, so Ima try it again today.
