The strongest wine I ever made was from apricots when I lived in Utah. A couple of shots of that stuff made me giddy.
I be corn fused... I thought Dale was talking about vape juice and Sarah replied with wine... what did I miss?
Never had apricot wine, but it sure sounds good...!

He makes his own juice. I make my own wine. He mentioned pear.

Growing up we raised about 3 plots that size.
After a family of 7 eating on it all summer we still put up a pickup load of taters in the cellar, a hundred or so quarts of white halfrunner beans, canned corn, pickles, maters, etc.
Miss that pickled sweet corn....
Pickled sweet corn pinto beans and fried taters and cornbread....
I really miss my grandmothers canned goodies....!
Ain't nuttin' like eating onions and carrots pulled fresh from the dirt. We even had plenty of cukes, maters, asparagus, strawberries, 3 different kinds of raspberries, grapes. the list goes on. We had 3/4s of an acre for the garden when I was little.
Well, then we have about the right size... we feed only two people and you had more than three times that many so you needed three times that much garden area. (see, math even works in gardening)

Had some excitement last night.
Neighbor saw a car go onto my other property (dead end road) about 2AM. checked and car there running and no one around. He called the cops for me. Cops showed up and found where M*th head thieves had dragged some stuff out of a shed to steal. found a gun and m*th in the car (still running)
Called me and I had the cops tow the car to impound. Have to go down in the morning to file criminal trespass charges.
Might not work since they never actually found anyone on site. But the car can be held for a while because of the trespass and m*th.

And Gooseberry bushes, Black raspberries and 6 full sized apple trees and 2 pear trees.
I bartlett and one sugar pear. Yummy those sugar pears.
In Arizona, they don't get the car back....it's auctioned off.

At least it was slightly more pleasant than throwing rotten fish. We had lakefront property.

Evening Dale it is a little better took a few short walks without the crutches just used the cain, had to take my pain meds a half hour before though, but it went good, thanks for asking my friend
A friend of mine suffered a stroke from one of those diets. She is still having facial reconstruction done to fix her face.

I agree. i work for a living. Sometimes a little too much. Thing is, nothing's free so it is what it is
