Legal procedures for starting a small business

Hello everyone!

I am probably going to try to sell my juice soon, online sales and a little wholesale in at least two states. I’m wondering what permits and fees I need to complete so it’s all legal. Anyone who has gone through all that have any advice?

Thanks!!

Lucy gave you a good start and once you get thru all that look into a Business License for your state, sales tax, accounting to provide federal taxes and so on. Not just mix some liquid and make money.

It's EJUICE - the FDA is already being a complete dick; ejuice is overpriced flop. Sorry, I can't feel much sympathy or even care much if someone "suddenly" decides they found a "cash cow" - like 3 or 4 years too late for the entire debate/argument/palm-greasing.

I’m not in it to try to make bank, just want to be legal about the little bit I plan on selling. Don’t want anything to come back and bite me in the ass. I have 2 stores and a bunch of coworkers who want to buy it, that’s all. I’m really just trying to make enough to fund my habit, so I don’t have any out of pocket expenses.

That is how so many juice makers started out when vaping was still brand new and was out of the FDA's reach

I'd just sell the recipes if you don't have big-time backing with seriously deep pockets

Technically according to the FDA, no new products can be sold, unless they were on the market before 8/16, without an approved PMTA.
Of course they have not been enforcing this yet...

And after May I expect insurance companys will be cancelling all US vape companys policies since they will not support illegal activity.
