I'm definitely going for a second one. There's a list going up in The Shed FB group, too. I'd go for both but I'm afraid of hitting twice

Not familiar with The Shed...but if you hit on Haku list and didn't buy. What's the worst that could happen? Booted from a group your not in?
I'll throw on it again if anyone wants.

So in Messing with temp Control on the BB 40, I have yet to run into temp protection. Such a better vape than what was going. 28g ss. .84 ohms but kept jumping. So decided I'd try tc again. Ut ne er tried on this one. Just the SXK 60s and 70s. Much better on the 40.

I’ll be buying a GTR at some point soon, I’m just a cheap bastard and would gladly buy a Xeta at $114 for a GTR that would run me nearly $170

Ill have to pick some up somewhere and give it a shot.
Titanium has the lowest cold resistance of the common metals we use,

It's low density and thus ramps up like a gunshot. It's high tcr profile makes it perfect for tc. It has NO flavor, at least to me at all. It tastes like nothing. All you get is the juice.

It has become my go to tc wire almost exclusively.

I have absolutely no fear whatsoever of using it for vaping. I even dry burn it, although gently. I worked on an open die forging crew years ago and we worked with glowing thousand pound bars of the stuff up close. We had all the safety documentation there as was required.

You'd almost have to hurt yourself on purpose vaping titanium. It poses no danger at all until nearly twice the temps we vape at.

Vapor ?

Edit, missed your other post....
Well :) aren't you just the jovial one tonight :D

I am getting legit cloudage at 25 watts and 480F along with incredible battery life. It goes from room temperature to 480 at only 25 watts in about a half a second. No lie.

I'm actually in the group now haha!
The Shed is Mark Todd's (of Todd's Reviews) FB vape group. It's a lot of fun and I really enjoy it. Sometimes I feel like I'm on the outside of some inside jokes but it's few and far in between when that happens. Check it out!

Hmm... trade ya a Xeta for a GTR

Seriously though, one of you with the authentic should buy the clone to compare.

I'll buy a clone but it'll be Christmas before I get it on the slow boat. Any place on this side of the world that has the clone?

Just put a 2.0 mm ID coil in the Xeta....(6/7 wraps, 1.09 ohms, 28/38 nichrome 80). Vaping at 15. 5 watts, good flavor, strong throat hit but still not quite there for me. One problem is the little black plastic air flow control/restrictor......when position for an acceptable draw (for me), the little turd blocks the glass on the boro from sliding down for a refill.
There, slid it all the way open, doesn't block the glass anymore, draw is acceptable.....sort of.
Next up, 28g plain nichrome followed by plain 30 g nichrome.....we shall see.
All in all, it is a good bridge with good flavor and TH, easy to build and wick, much better rba bridge than all the others I've tried (and I've tried several).

I'm using mine in concert with a MTL DryPlug in lieu of the AFC control. I wonder if that's made a difference?

Sounds like you have beautiful music. I thought about that too but a) the stuff has been put in a box, b) I can't remember which box, c) too much trouble finding the boxes....I will get it going, one way or the other, worst case it will be a DL (for me) setup.

I guess I'm spoiled by the Dvarw....

Funny, I found it to be a better vape than my Dvarws. Most of my RTAs, too, save for my Tripod.
Buuuuuuut if you decide you don't like it... I gladly take it off your hands

That's a big buuut there. It is workable and more than likely if I had this before the Dvarws and MF bridges I'd make it work to my liking. It definitely makes it in the same zip code with my idea of MTL, much more so than the Insider and Insider MTL ( both authentics).

@~Don~, how tight a draw can you get on the Pasito?

Dunno, I left it wide open and it was good enough for me, lemme go check though...easy enough to flip the switch over since it located on top of the tank section

Ok checked... with the RBA it feels like a 1.2mm draw, probably make it slightly tighter using a 2.5 or 3mm coil rather than the 2mm I have going on

Same, ordered some clone stuff a GTR, another Dvarw or two. Thinking of cancelling my order....

My progression of pods have been like this...

Breeze AIO > Nord > Pasito

Only two reasons I got the Pasito... The RBA and the Buck/Boost...always fires at the wattage rather than fade like the other two.

But the Nord wasn’t bad for me and it’s intended purpose...nic

My Nord was OK (DL for me) until it took a spin in the washing machine! Pasito is coming up....maybe.

I’ll probably still use the Nord out and about...2 lil mods with 2 juices is better than 1...

Haven’t really put the Pasito through an afternoon out and about...might vape it tomorrow as a primary and see how it does.

What I’m concerned about is mostly how long a wicking will last in that tiny RBA, I go 4 days on the Dvarws before I swap cotton, and probably near 50ml

I guess it depends on the juice. One of the ones I use is a tropical-ish fruit, clear, the other is Irish cream/cappuccino/zeppola, it can muck up a coil in a couple of days.

The two juices I use are fairly clean on coils, I never really have gunk when I change cotton, just the cycling the cotton takes , I can taste when it starts to go south

I use mine for mtl only. .84ohm the airflow is barely open. Little less tight than a cig. If you can remember how tight they were. Lol. But use a 2.4mm coil with blackberry menthol juice. I take it with me as a daily driver along with another mod. But use the pasito more than I thought I would. Change the cotton once a week.

Nice!

I’m using it thus far today and it’s doing well.

Find out how far the battery goes...I’ll be vaping the heck out of it during the UFC fight that starts at 2pm on ESPN+

Another Xeta list going on in Haku...

Anyone with a GTR (or not) want me to join the list for them?

On a tangent...I find it amazing that there are over 1000 Xeta‘ sin the wild already and list 3 will probably send it to near 1400...didn’t think there was that many BBs out there on the regular...

Or is it those with multiple and or 50/50s Bantams

Probably the later

Xeta List is live for members of The Shed and Haku Engineering Facebook groups.

Not sure if you can enter twice or not if you're a member of both. I only entered once to avoid being dropped from both. Good luck everyone!

You gotta be there card already input when they drop shit man. Like a whole site of nothing. No button, plates, tips,. It's no wonder people go SXK. They're readily available for the most part. Like even if I had the 1000 dollars to buy custom BB from the site. He has to make it. Sorry it's seems I started my monthly. Lol

Looking forward to you selling me that and the silver SSPP inners. If you could install them before you ship it to me, that'd be great. Thanks!
