Ok @Midniteoyl and @Just Me ... I just got back from the neurologist and he is trying to get me an MRI for this afternoon or tomorrow.
He said that my head is still swollen and he sees evidence of what could be a bruise that deeper than the surface so he wants to make sure that I don't have fluid building up in there. According to my wife my memory has been a lot worse of the last week as well.
He put me on antibiotics in case it is a bacterial infection because apparently it is possible to get a buildup of bacterial infection in the area behind the ear that puts pressure on the nerve and causes symptoms close enough to what I'm having that he wants to eliminate it and the MRI will be able to see that as well.

He said at this point, he doesn't think I fell because of the lack of a healing surface bruise. It's what made him decide to get the MRI. I talked them this afternoon and they are waiting on a pre-cert from the insurance company and then will get it scheduled ASAP after that.No arent you glad we pushed you?
