How did the party go, did everyone like your costume? We sure did helped set the season. ;)

The party was a lot of fun, just the usual kind of party with music, food, drink, halloween decorations, and of course most people in costumes. No trick-or-treaters because it wasn't actually October 31. There was a really memorable funny moment. A party guest arrived through the back gate into the yard and walked softly across the yard to the patio, all dressed in black, in a cape and top hat, as "Baron Samedi", the voodoo lord of death. The dog started low growling and kept doing it until the guest walked up, removed his hat and said "you know me, what's wrong with you?" Then the dog recognized him and started wagging his tail.

So much for dog instinct and sense of smell...

Sounds like a great time, I haven't been to a party like that in quite some time but I can't drink or eat most of what's out at a party so I guess it's better off for me to stay home
Thank you for sharing

Jimi, no! Any time you get an invitation and you want to go to the party, take your own food and whatever you want to drink. Make a lot of your food, because other people are always going to want it. It's a corollary to Murphy's Law.

Always make space for the kind of fun you want to have.
